1 Air Conditioner problem of the 2018 Nissan Rogue

Failure Date: 07/10/2020

This is a new incident for same vehicle reported in NHTSA incident #11308847. The vehicle was attempted to be picked up for the first time since February 10, 2020 when it was involved in a wreck on that date. Vehicle had been with Nissan representatives continuously since that date. The vehicle had sat unattended for several months due to issues reported in NHTSA incident #11308847. Nissan provided written response the vehicle's body damage was repaired but they were unable to reproduce any computer issues. Consumer was instructed to pick-up vehicle by today. The vehicle was started while at the Nissan facility and left running for a little while as the battery had completely discharged. During the final check before I left the Nissan facility, the vehicle's ignition was engaged and the vehicle was fully running. However, numerous lights on the dashboard were illuminated that should not be illuminated while the vehicle was parked and turned on. These lights included power steering, abs, brake, check engine, oil pressure, and a few other lights. Additionally, the air conditioning system was completely unresponsive in terms of blowing air or running any fans. The vehicle could not be released by the Nissan facility's service manager and the vehicle will be kept for further investigation into continuing onboard computer systems not functioning correctly.

2 Air Conditioner problem of the 2016 Nissan Rogue

Failure Date: 04/30/2020

A/c does not work. There is a roaring sound when the fan is on "high" but little to no air is blowing. What little air comes out is hot. The temperature is set to 60 degrees and still hot air blows. This is my second summer to be without any air conditioner. You may accidentally get a few mintues of cold air first thing in the morning before the engine gets hot and then it's gone. In the afternoon you do not get any cold air. I see multiple similar complaints on many websites. When is the NHTSA going to take action against Nissan?.

3 Air Conditioner problem of the 2013 Nissan Rogue

Failure Date: 07/20/2019

Transmission failed with only 54k miles on on July 20th while driving on the highway. I could not go any faster than 40mph and had to pull over on the side of the road. My air conditioning also stopped working in 90 degree weather.

4 Air Conditioner problem of the 2017 Nissan Rogue

Failure Date: 06/22/2019

At 8000 miles, I had to have the right front strut replaced, and now I have 23,000 miles on it and I am going on my 4th strut, right front. A popping clicking noise when I turn or back up. Driving a 4 hr trip, while driving about 3 hrs, the air conditioning froze up and stopped working. I could hear the fan on full blast but nothing was coming out. I turned it off for 20 minutes and then it came back on with cool air. It is in the shop now for a heater/cooler box and the 4th strut replacement.

5 Air Conditioner problem of the 2011 Nissan Rogue

Failure Date: 06/06/2019

Turning onto exspress way car would not accelerate to desired speed to enter highway . Happens other times just in driving the car will not have any acceleration power when trying to accelerate . Vehicle was in motion on a highway ,. Cars behind me honking horns some going around me. I believe it to be cvt and transmission . Luckily I finally made it onto highway. Times like this happens too frequently ! so far I have not had an accident but if I have to keep driving this car ,I don't know . I have heard from other people that this problem is still ongoing and no action has been taken by Nissan other than refusing to reimburse them . Some one has to take action and make them recall all of the cars affected by this . No patch jobs like adding temperature cooler to supposedly cool transmission fluid down which according to some people it doesn't work and if it does work at all it eventually fails again ! I purchased this brand new in Feb 2011 had other problems with it also brakes screeching and air conditioner went out . Those repairs came out of my pocket . Also they would not fix my brakes or acknowledge there was even a problem !all of this with only around 65,oo miles on it. I'm hoping that some one will be responsible and take action against Nissan. Thanks for taking my complaint . I don't remember the exact date it started happening but somewhere around June 2019.

6 Air Conditioner problem of the 2015 Nissan Rogue

Failure Date: 05/28/2019

On multiple occurrances beginning 5/28/20 when driving or idling on a hot day with the air conditioning operating in excess of 40 minutes, the blower remains operational but the air flow to the cabin slowly reduces and the temperature increases to a point at which it exceeds the exterior air in both temperature and humidity. This is dangerous because it makes it difficult to breathe for all occupants of the vehicle. It also sometimes causes a film of condensation to appear on the interior surface of the windows making it difficult to safely navigate. This film cannot be removed with the wipers because it is not exterior. This has occurred mostly during the daytime but occassionally at night, mostly while moving but occasionally while parked. The dealership and independent repair shop have been unable to reproduce the issue (likely due to insufficient drive time). The issue appears to resolve after the vehicle is turned off for several (no less than 30) minutes. The cabin air filter has been replaced and the area cleaned of debris with no appreciable change in the issue.

7 Air Conditioner problem of the 2014 Nissan Rogue

Failure Date: 07/16/2018

The air conditioning stops blowing cold air after driving for about 20 minutes on the freeway. Had the compressor replaced last year due to an alleged leak after loosing all air conditioning while driving 2. 5 hours on the freeway. Experiencing same issue this year and the dealership cannot figure it out.

9 Air Conditioner problem of the 2015 Nissan Rogue

Failure Date: 08/30/2016

The air conditioning regularly stops working and will blow out warm air. We have taken the vehicle to dealerships and mechanics and they cannot replicate the problem as it requires some period of driving before it will stop working. Sensors and wires have been replaced. Coolant level is fine and this has been happening over the past two summers.

10 Air Conditioner problem of the 2016 Nissan Rogue

Failure Date: 04/28/2016

When the car is on and I turn on the air conditioner, the interior makes me very sick. Something about the cars interior makes me very sick. Causes headaches, eye problems, swollen throat and makes me dizzy. I have been to my doctor and there is no other cause they can find for my illness. Nissan has checked out the car, but found nothing wrong. But I continue to get sick every time I drive the car.

11 Air Conditioner problem of the 2010 Nissan Rogue

Failure Date: 04/06/2014

When slowing down to come to a stop or just slowing down period the engine sounds like it wants to turn off and it putters like it's going to turn off. I have to push the gas pedal to keep it from turning off. Nissan dealer says the entire air conditioner compressor need to be replaced. I purchased this car in oct/2013 and shouldn't have to absorb the huge cost for this.

12 Air Conditioner problem of the 2010 Nissan Rogue

Failure Date: 05/30/2013

I was driving when I suddenly noticed that the air conditioning was not working properly then the engine spluttered and the vehicle slowed and I had to turn on the hazard lights to prevent an accident. I parked on the roadside when able to and shut off the engine. After a couple of minutes, I restarted the engine and regained speed but the air conditioning was not responsive however within a few minutes the engine spluttered again and had to park and called for roadside assistance. The diagnosis from Nissan was that the radiator had a "hole" in it and warranty did not cover as the mileage had exceeded 36,000. I was puzzled why the radiator of a relatively new car without any forewarning would develop this kind of problem and I was not prepared to pay the high repair cost, which convinced there may be something wrong with the radiator from the manufacturer.

13 Air Conditioner problem of the 2012 Nissan Rogue

Failure Date: 01/01/2013

The vehicle was at a cross street waiting for the lights to change, the air conditioner was on and the radio and other accessories were not in use, when the SUV stalled shortly. It was noticed that this only occurs while the air conditioner is on and the vehicle is at a stop in drive or l modes.
