Steering felt funny and would not stay in line. This was noticed by multiple drivers. Took the vehicle in to sutherlin Nissan of fort myers, they diagnosed it as a broken steering column and replaced it. During replacement customer was informed that a screw was loose on the airbag and needed to be replaced. The vehicle has 50 xxx miles on it and has only been driven on florida roads. Customer primarily uses back and forth in town on short trips < 15 miles.

2 Steering Column problem of the 2013 Nissan Rogue

Failure Date: 10/30/2016

The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Rogue. After the contact purchased the vehicle, a clicking noise was heard coming from the steering column area while turning at speeds of 10 mph or higher. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 30,000.
