3 Multiple Axle Suspension problem of the 2004 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 08/21/2007

Own 2004 Nissan Titan se king cab 4x4 pick up truck. Now have 75,000 miles and the rear axle seals leak, not sure how long this has been going on but the inside of the rear disc brake shields our covered with the rear axle oil. Taking it to the dealership for repairs, I believe this is a safety hazard.

4 Multiple Axle Suspension problem of the 2004 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 04/12/2007

2004 Nissan Titan rear axle seal leak. I was looking on the web when I cam across a lot of other Nissan Titan owners with the same problem. The 04 I have has 28k miles on it and the axel seals are leaking. This gear oil is now on the brake rotors and may cause a serious problem. I have stopped driving my truck until these seals are fixed. This appears to be a design related issue because I have never had this problem with any of the other autos that I have driven thru out the years. I can see this lead to a serious problem and it may be.
