2 Other Fuel System Pump problem of the 2017 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 11/06/2019

Tl the contact owns a 2017 Nissan Titan. While driving approximately 25 mph down a hill, the low pressure fuel sensor illuminated and the vehicle stalled. The contact restarted the vehicle and drove to tony Nissan (04-1299 ka uka blvd, waipahu, hi 96797). The dealer stated that due to the location of the fuel pump sensor, if there was less than a quarter of a tank of diesel fuel, the vehicle would stall. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 55,000.

3 Other Fuel System Pump problem of the 2009 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 07/17/2019

My fuel pump issue is currently a recall on my truck. I've tried for a month to get it into the local dealership and keep being put off til the next week. It finally quit completely and I had it towed. I was put off another week. I called the following week to be told again it would be another week on my truck. I told the supervisor that wasn't acceptable and was informed if I didn't like how he did buisness to come and get my truck.

4 Other Fuel System Pump problem of the 2005 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 04/01/2019

I was driving on the highway when my Nissan Titan 2005 started shaking while driving on a modern traffic. I suddenly started losing control of the truck and thank god I manage exit the freeway with the speed I manage to control. I pull over to the right and tried to find out what was wrong. My truck didn't want to turn on and I had 1/4 of gas left so it was imposible I needed gas after trying different methods, I walked to the nearest gas station, bought a gallon of gas with its proper fuel container and added to my truck then it turn on. I contacted my nearest Nissan dealer and they fixed 2 recalls that my truck already had but they didn't want to fix my main problem which is the fuel pump. And I read many Nissan Titan 2005 are having this problem, I found the recall number (10v074000) which the dealer I attended didn't want to fix it. It's been a bad experience because I could of crash and it couldn't gone worse due to my gas not been correctly plus I missed work and it's just putting stress on me I need this fix thank you.

5 Other Fuel System Pump problem of the 2005 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 07/02/2018

While driving one the highway I noticed my vehicle start to shutter and shut down as if it ran out of gas. My fuel gauge said half a tank so I didn't think it was the problem until I walked to the gas station to fill up a gas can. I put 2 gallons of gas into my fuel tank that said I had a half a tank. I started my truck and it started. Since that incident it has happened 3 times, the most recent being yesterday 07/02/18. I replaced the fuel pump today in hopes that it fixes the problem.

6 Other Fuel System Pump problem of the 2016 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 11/02/2016

On November 2, 2016, I was driving my 2016 Nissan Titan xd (diesel) on a city street when the engine suddenly shut down on me. I was able to get the vehicle safely to the side of the road (loss of power steering and brakes). I had the vehicle towed to the dealership, where it remains to this day (November 30). The dealership, along with assistance from Nissan, has not been able to repair or restart the vehicle to date. My understanding is the fuel has been tested and was determined to be clean diesel and problem free. The fuel rails were first replaced, with negative results. The high pressure fuel pump was then replaced, again with negative results. My last contact with the dealership was one week ago, and I was told the Nissan engineer's felt the fuel system/engine was not getting "primed" and they were going to look into that system. Still,, the vehicle remains at the dealership and they have not been able to start then vehicle or correct the problem. I am concerned other owners of this type of vehicle may or may already have experienced similar issues. This is obviously a safety issue that needs to be checked because it could result in a severe accident resulting in injury, loss of life and/or property damage.

7 Other Fuel System Pump problem of the 2005 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 06/15/2016

I understand there is a recall on 2005 thru 2016 Nissan Titans for a falty gas gauge but was told that my model was not included, I have run out of gas with my gauge showing a 1/4 tank of fuel up to almost a 1/2 on my gauge but still ran out of fuel, I took my truck to key west, FL. And the fuel pump went out and it cost me over $700 to have it replaced. Now my gas gauge is off even more than before.

8 Other Fuel System Pump problem of the 2005 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 01/01/2016

Their is a current recall on the fuel system for the gauge reading incorrectly and could cause an accident. My truck is having that issue, but my VIN shows not to be under that recall. I am also having engine problems that I also believe to be due to a failing fuel pump or possibly one of the other many problems with engine performance on this model Titan. I don't understand why the recall for the fuel gauge problem is not covering my vehicle , I have had many problems with my Nissan Titan since I bought it brand new and absolutely no help from Nissan to fix faulty parts, including the valve cover that if clogged will allow engine oil down into the valves and cylinder and cause smoking problem, and eventually ruin the engine cylinder. My Titan will not take fuel and starts staling out at 2000 rpm causing me to almost be in several accidents already. All vehicles with parts that are being recalled should be involved in the recall. Nissan should'nt be able to pic and choose who gets covered, they should man up and fix their cheap parts when they fail.

9 Other Fuel System Pump problem of the 2012 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 10/10/2015

The tail pipe on a 2 1/2 year old 2012 Nissan Titan prematurely separated at the flange in front of the rear axle. The reason the flange separated was the poor design. The flange is positioned to hold water, dirt and salt inducing corrosion. Once the flange separates the heat from the exhaust melts the rear main wiring harness in less than 100 miles of driving. The melted harness causes failure to the fuel pump circuit resulting in an engine stall situation at highway speed, which results in loss of power steering, power brake assist and anti lock brakes. The affected portion of the rear harness also controls the stop, turn and tail lamp circuits. The failure and resulting damage to the wiring has potential to create an extremely dangerous driving situation.

10 Other Fuel System Pump problem of the 2004 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 07/07/2014

I was driving down the highway doing 75 in my 2004 Titan. All of a sudden I lost all power and the truck went dead. My fuel gauge was at a 1/4 tank so I thought it was the fuel pump. Found out the next day that my tank was completely empty and the gauge was wrong. Very dangerous!!!.
