I have a 2007 Nissan Xterra and I had my check engine light come on and while receiving the code to tell me what is wrong I found that it was the fuel level sensor circuit signal high/open code p0463. . . My dad had an Xterra 2002 and had the same problem. I brought my vehicle to a local shop to find out that my vehicle would cost about $600 to get this fix and that the vehicle would not pass inspection without this being resolved. . . I also did some reach after the guy at my local shop said that this is a very common problem in Nissan trucks and I found the same thing online from many Nissan owners. Something needs to be done to make Nissan motors responsible for a recall.
