Ok I didn't know how else to put this but to say that when raining this van and the funny part is that when driving during weather conditions (I. E. Rain snow) the micro v belt slips off and makes the van hard to drive and may in time if not already cause and accident the first time it happened to us we went though a small puddle of water on an on ramp from one free way to another and the van became unstable and hard to steer we had a 11 and a 2 year old in this van and now it doesn't matter when we drive in the rain it happens I have been told that there is a fix but the kit is over 200 dollars and is next to impossible for people to fix this on fixed incomes to this day we still deal with it but something should be done about it with Chrysler and after doing a search on just google alone I found 1500-5000 different compliance on this one problem.

I have problems with my wipers going on and right back off since the month I bought this vehicle in 2000 . I cant get it fixed because noone knows why it does it . Just this week I had my fan relay module replaced , only to learn my transmission is now not worknig it stops at 3rd gear only to drop to 1 gear . While trying to get that fixxed they told me my water pump is leaking (which is ok and expected of most vehicles , ) I have had to have my dash light computer reset because all my ac dfrost and wiper lights were blinking continuously. I dont know what to do this is only a 97 model and I havent even made my final payment but now I have all these expensive repairs. I have had I tick in my motor that rattles on acceleratin forever and change my oil every 3 to 4000 miles like I should . I also have the winning in the steering the thump every so often but cant tell where that is coming from not to mention my a/c compressor rattles. My belt on my tensioner pully flu aff about 6 months ago going down the road I had to put a new pukky plus both new belts on . And they squeek like crazy . I dont think these are normal problems can you help it is getting to costly >??????.

15 Power Train problem of the 1998 Plymouth Grand Voyager

On various occasions since the first week of ownership of the vehicle the speedometer and temperature guage have simultaneously dropped to zero and the fluctuated between 0 & 85 mph, dealer was contacted and they kept the van to investigate, nothing found, they then hooked up a computer reader that I drove with for 10 days, as sthis incident only happened sporadically and I had to hit a button when it did nothing was reported. When travelling at anywhere from 10 to 65mph it is sometimes quite dangerous to takes your eyes off the road and your hand off the steering wheel to hit the button of an attachment on your visor. . ! this incident had continued to occur over the past year and now in the middle of a hurricane I have attempted to evacuate my children from the area only to find that my vehicle will not start. The dealership sent somebody to assist and due to the weather conditions he told me to keep the car running all day as he did not feel that this was a battery problem but computer related, particularly after I told him about the strange happenings with the speedo etc. The van ran for about 3. 5 hours on my driveway and then died. . . ! the local Chrysler dealership is coming to pick it up tomorrow morning.
