3 Side/window Air Bag problem of the 1996 Plymouth Grand Voyager

Failure Date: 01/01/2001

Driver's side airbag along with horn automatically disabled without incident (have not been involved in any accident or collision). I am concerned that such a safety feature disables randomly to include the disabling of the horn. Any information that can be researched into this matter is greatly appreciated. I believe there is a trend in this manufacturer, as I am aware of another such owner experiencing the same problems.

4 Side/window Air Bag problem of the 1996 Plymouth Grand Voyager

Failure Date: 10/01/1999

Chrysler knows very well that there is system failure in air bag "clock spring" in the steering wheel. Nhtsa should ask Chrysler for one simple piece of information: how many driver's side air bag "clock spring" replacement parts" are you selling? because Chrysler is selling tens of thousands, it is clear to any idiot that there is a manufacturer's defect in this important safety device. Chrysler has a similar problem with fuel tank sender device. They are all breaking.

5 Side/window Air Bag problem of the 1998 Plymouth Grand Voyager

Failure Date: 03/01/1998

The horn on the van was intermittent from nearly the first use. We rarely use it an did not remember to inquire about it over a period of several years whenever we were at the dealership for service. Finally, one time we asked about it and were told that we had a faulty sop module and that it was likely that the driver-side airbag wouldn't function. We wrote to daimler-Chrysler and they responded that they wouldn't cover the replacement. Seems ludicrous that a safety device on a new vehicle could be rendered useless and the manufacturer wouldn't step-up to replace it.
