Twice in less than 25000 miles, the front rotors were warped and required re-surfacing or replacement. Prior to repairs, braking caused excessive vehicle vibration. The 2 drivers of this vehicle generally brake gradually, with little hard braking. In both cases, the owners paid for repairs, as the rotors were out of warranty at time of repair.

Head gasket blown and car requires new rotors at 38,500 miles. Obvious defect. I called chryslers 800 number for recall and warranties and was advised that "Chrysler is aware of the problem and they are dealing with it on a case by case basis". In order for Chrysler to even consider paying for the repair, I have to see an authorized dealer and they will determine what if anything Chrysler will pay for. I have to wait 4 days before I can even get into see an authorized dealer and then it will take another 2-3 days to repair. The car is undrivable and I have no other transportation. Chrysler refuses to pay for a rental car. I call this very poor customer service and I would like Chrysler to be held responsible for the repairs to my car.
Vehicle is experiencing excessive wear of frontal brake rotors, rotors have been replaced three times. Consumer has contacted dealer, dealer unable to determine the cause. Rotors are warping causing pedal pulsation and violent front end vibration.
On the engine failures, both the head gasket and the valve cover gasket failed at separate times, resulting in all of the oil running onto the ground. The car was still under warranty, and the dealer repaired both problems. Regarding the brake light problem, the left turn signal often comes on when I apply the brakes. It will go off if I touch the turn signal handle on the steering column. This has gone on ever since I purchased the vehicle. Regarding the wheel problem, the car pulls to the right at highway speeds and the steering/handling has felt loose and wobbly despite having the rack and pinion replaced, a full alignment and having the tires balanced. Also, brake rotors are warped and currently being replaced. And, water leaked into the trunk and soaked items in both the trunk and on the rear floor. This, I think, has been fixed by resealing the rear lights.
Front wheel rotors failed. Mgm.
