Brake Electric Antilock Problems of Plymouth Neon

Brakes are squeaking. Also, there is a delay in stopping distance. Consumer took vehicle to dealer last year for recall work on brakes. Currently, brake problem has come back. Please provide any further.

While driving 25mph another vehicle cut in front, forcing consumer to brake. Once consumer took foot off brake vehicle accelerated, engine revved, and shot across road to left. Consumer wanted to avoid hitting other vehicles, hit embankment, and rolled once. Consumer was not injured.

Power steering would lock up intermittently when driving over a water puddle. Also, vehicle experienced problem with oil leakages due to a head gasket failure. When appying brakes pedal would go to floor, and caused extended stopping distance. Dealer was notified, and informed consumer that none of the problems were covered under a recall, and vehicle was out of its warranty. Feel free to provide any further details on this matter.

Consumer has a brake problem. When applying brakes there is noise. Also, engine head gasket had an oil leak, and she took it to the garage. Then, she took vehicle back to dealership. Mechanic replaced head gasket. Brake drum was pitted, and mechanic told her that nothing was wrong. Finally, passenger's airbag panel was bulging on the dashboard. There were no lights on the airbag modular.

Driving at approximately 40 mph consumer went to apply brakes to make a normal stop when brakes locked up, causing the vehicle to slide into a truck.

Upon stepping on the brakes pedal to stop vehicle heard noise coming from the bakes, especially when the vehicle came to a complete stop. Consumer had taken vehicle a few times to the dealer, and they said that the noise was grinding metal to metal which is common on those vehicles .

Started applying abs brakes at 30mph, brake pedal went to floor. Vehicle failed to stop & rearended another vehicle. Neither air bag deployed. Vehicle being repaired at mechanic's.

The abs brakes on the car have failed about 8 times in the 5 years we've owned the car. The brake pedal goes all the way to the floor and the car won't stop. The car has been to several dealers who have been unable to find a problem.

Abs brakes; brake pedal goes to floor when applied. Owner spoke w/sport Chrysler norristown, PA. , and they told her brakes were self adjusting. Two days later she had an accident. Chrysler rep. , wishes to inspect vehicle. Please describe details.

When applying the abs brakes, they make noise, this happens in wet weather mostly . Please describe.

I was told there is a national back order on this part indicating a problem with it. Mine has collasped and while not creating a safety problem at this point could later on if I can't get a part to replace it. No safety defect mentioned .

This car has been back to the dealer many times for problems brake problems, oil leak, window leaking witch they say there not responcible for . I am frightend by the oil leak to to potenchial fire hazerd. I feal very unsafe driving this car.
