Door Problems of Plymouth Neon

Oil was leaking from underneath vehicle. Engine check light came on dashboard. Dealership replaced wire harnesss. Leaking inside of back truck and a mold like substance was inside of truck. Passenger's side door was leaking when there was rainy weather. Als, dealership replaced a weather strip on side of panel.

Consumer has numerous problems, air condition burned out , and locks will not unlock. Consumer was locked in for an hour, black smoke came from air conditioning while she was inside of vehicle. Also, gasket had to replaced numerous times. Dealership was aware of problem.

When locking door with alarm or manually, doors will unlock right away without a reason.

The driver's door panel is broken.

Static electricity very sharp when leaving vehicle. So, have learned to not touch metal when exiting vehicle, but this becomes a problem when I then go to open gas tank, esp when hot and under pressure. I have attached a ground strap which has not solved problem. Only thing that works is to spray seats with anti static, but that wears off. Dealer acknowledges problem, does not know what to do, and there is no tech service bulletin from Chrysler. I am afraid of sparking the gas fumes one day, but also am sick and tired of being afraid of touching the door as the spark is significant and feels like a damn needle. This is not right. My father also bought an identical car and has same problem. He wears gloves all the time for a health problem but when he does not have them on he gets the same shock and it jolts. I haven't tried to measure it, but it's not like taking off your t shirt at night and watching the sparks, this one hurts. Art hyland.

Driver's door window would not allow door to close when up. Squealing noises coming from front of vehicle. Electric light in trunk fails to work. Driver's side door is also uneven. The hood, lights & bumpers have gaps (large gaps on one side, small gaps on other side). Vehicle rusting under hood. Took to body shop & informed vehicle was in accident prior to being sold by dealer.

Transmission failed, passenger side door leaks when going through puddles, door panels come off on both sides causing door not to open,trunk leaks when it rains.

Air/water leaks through the door.

Passenger door has wind noise when vehicle travels over 35 mph.

Sharp edge on the door handle caused cut on hand.
