The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the motor mount boat detached and fractured the engine's axle. The technician stated that the motor mount boat needed to be removed from the engine and the engine's axles needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. 2 Loud Engine Noise problem of the 2011 Toyota Avalon

Tl- the contact owns a 2011 Toyota Avalon. The contact stated that after briefly tapping the accelerator pedal the vehicle made a loud abnormal noise and experienced a brief period of unintended acceleration. This resulted in the vehicle hitting a palm tree. There were no warning indicators illuminated prior to or after the failure.
