Car Will Not Accelerate Problems of Toyota Camry

The problem is when the car was running and I pressed the gas pedal the car did not accelerate, it took around 2 seconds for the car to accelerate but it speeds up suddenly. This fact may lead to an unexpected accident for the driver. Besides I checked the vehicle alert history, there is a record that showed a check engine alert regarding "a malfunction in the electronic control of the engine, throttle, or automatic transmission has been detected" (see the attached image for detail).

Abnormal operation between accelerator and throttle. Tech tested throttle body and tests passed. Tech tested accelerator pedal and values out of range. Tech would think this could cause a dtc to set if not functioning properly but there were no codes. At random moments, the car will not accelerate. Cannot get answers. Occurs most often after idling at a light then starting to accelerate it won't move. This has occurred over the years so we have had the throttle and filter cleaned twice in the past but problem is persistent and becoming more frequent.

Tl-the contact owns a 2009 Toyota Camry. The contact stated that while driving at 60 mph, the vehicle lost power. The accelerator pedal was depressed but the vehicle failed to accelerate. Upon further inspection, the contact noticed coolant leaking from the front of the vehicle. The vehicle had previously been inspected by an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the water pump needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired at that time. The vehicle was towed to the contact's residence where the water pump was replaced by an independent mechanic. However, the vehicle failed to start. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 94,500. Oo.

On 6/2/2014 I was on my way to work. As I pulled out my dirt road onto the main highway, my check engine light came on and my car automatically shut off. Mind you my car was still rolling, but I manage to pull on the side of the road and shut the car off. I try to step on gas peddle but car would not accelerate. So I waited a few mintues on side of road before attempting to re-start my car. Once I got it cranked, I drove 10 to 15 miles to get my car back in my yard. At this point in time, I cant drive it until it gets fix.
