The paint on my car is coming off in sheets and chunks as I go down the road. It is my understanding this is a systemic problem with white paint on Toyota's vehicles manufactured during years that include my car. I took it to the dealer and they said there had been a program to fix this problem but it expired, I think this should be repaired ASAP to avoid future damages & issues.

Tl the contact owns a 2016 Toyota Corolla. The contact stated that the paint peeled on the front bumper of the vehicle. The contact later received a letter from the manufacturer, requiring vehicles painted with factory applied blizzard pearl or super white paint to go to a local dealer, to have the vehicle repainted. The contact took the vehicle to the sansone Toyota located at 90-100 us-1, avenel, NJ 07001, 732-587-1100, where the technician stated that the failure was not a paint peel but was due to an accident. The contact stated that the vehicle was not in an accident. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and sided with the dealer. The contact reported to the attorney general and was referred to the NHTSA. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 15,000.

I bought a 2014 certified Toyota Corolla s at Toyota culver city last July 2017, maintanance of my vehicle is always service at this location ever since I got it. The other day while cleaning my vehicle I noticed that the paint on the corner side of my hood is peeling off. Thought that it was just normal so I bought a Toyota touch up paint and tried to touch up the peeling paint but ever time I brush it lightly to add the touch up paint the paint on my hood will peel off. I checked google to see if im the only one who has encounter this paint issue. But its not just me. I checked if there are any recalls from Toyota about the paint job but nothing.

Car started having paint problems at 3 years old. Paint missing on certain protected areas of car, with primer only (trunk and hood area. ) paint on drivers side door formed bubbles on the edge. Paint scratching easily on the hood of the car. First car I have owned that was having paint issues after only 3 years. Normal driving conditions no different than other cars I've owned. Always well maintained and regularly washed.

Paint on roof, hood, and trunk had rapidly rusted over the past 3-4 years. Car was bought new in 2005 in California but I've lived in louisiana for 8. 5 years (as of Jan 2018). The roof is completely red rusted, the hood has worn paint and lots of chips, and the trunk is beginning to get the same "sun damage" looking paint wear that the hood has.

Takata airbags-this is third time that I am filling this out. This website is difficult and I could not check all the boxes that I needed. This car had so many problems. It is the worst car that I have even owned. All of the paint was peeling off. I had to have the engine rebuilt. The lights kept blowing out. I had an accident and I hit the steering with my face. The airbag never deployed. I knocked myself out. I had facial contusion and almost knocked my teeth out.

The contact owns a 2007 Toyota Corolla. The vehicle was purchased brand new in 2007. Two months after the vehicle was purchased, the factory alarm system engaged intermittently. The dealer repaired the alarm failure. In September of 2011, the check engine warning indicator illuminated. On February 21, 2012, a warning indicator illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle rolled backwards without warning while parked. The dealer test drove the vehicle and determined that the vehicle was functioning as designed. The dealer produced a failure code detected for the torque converter clutch lock up and recommended that the transmission assembly be replaced. On February 24, 2012, an ecm recall repair was performed. Also in 2012, the contact noticed rust on the hood of the vehicle and small white circles (the size of basketballs) on the rear bumper and trunk. Two years later, leopard like spots were present on the roof of the vehicle. The manufacturer and dealer were notified of the defects. The manufacturer scheduled an appointment with the dealer in December of 2016 for diagnostic testing. The dealer determined that there were only paint chips on the vehicle and failed to include the extensive amount of rust on the roof. The service manager informed the contact that they would use oxidation on the vehicle regarding the rust. The manufacturer stated that the paint used on the vehicle was environmentally safe. In addition, the contact received a recall notice for the air bags. It was unknown if the notice pertained to the passenger or driver side air bag. The NHTSA campaign numbers and failure mileage were not provided. The VIN was invalid.

Rpm's increase when my foot is on the brake and the force of the rpm increase decompresses the brake pedal and my foot slips of the brake pedal. I have not experienced an accident due to this but it worries me that it may. This happens on a daily basis. I heard this may be normal but now reading that other people experienced this, I plan to get it checked. Aside from this, there is dash board rattling, seal issue with windows because they whistle and also paint flakes off from a small ding.
Paint bubbled and peeling all over car.
