Exterior Rearview Mirror Problems of Toyota Highlander

The contact owns a 2021 Toyota Highlander. The contact stated while driving at 55 mph, the driver’s side mirror was vibrating abnormally. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer and the vehicle was diagnosed and it was determined that the screw securing the mirror had loosened. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 38,000.

When driving at highway speeds (over 40mph) the driver side mirror excessively shakes/vibrates, negatively impacting visibility.

I have a 2001 Toyota Highlander vehicle. At times, when speeds exceed 65 mph the rearview side mirrors create a whistling sound. The dealer has been unresponsive and told me he could not test the vehicle at that speed, but several highways around memphis, TN permit speeds of 65 and 70 mph.
