Just crank the vehicle up and the airbag insignia came on and the book says take to dealership immediately. So I did that and now they are trying to charge me s125 for checking out a manufacturer problem other than that I would have never took it to manufacturer if I knew it would costs me 125 dollars to check a manufacturer problem. Takata recall we have owned our sequioa since 12/13/2001, we bought it brand new. When we 1st bought it the airbag light came on immediately and bill dube of dover nh replaced something and fixed it. I have had many complaints with my vehicle and returned to the dealership many times thru out the years. I have had multiple issues with vsc traction control starting in 2002 lights would come on and go out, air bag light comes on when there is high humidity and when using air conditioning, my alloy wheels have been disgusting since 2004. I have a extensive repair history with bill dube dealership they never addressed issues as once lights on dash turn off there is no history. In 2006 my lights on dash came on I brought it to Toyota of portsmouth nh as I was almost at 100000. Miles. They could not look at vehicle due to warranty. I drove to bill dube and they refused to see me that day or document that lights were on so they could fix it. Once my odometer hit 100000 warranty was null and void. I was extremely upset called multiple times to Toyota corporation and appeared to get same jerk who refused to help and gave me the run around. We have owned our sequioa for 18 1/2 years. I love my car it has approx 445000 miles and would appreciate assistance. My vsc is constantly on now along with the abs light. The air bag only comes on when there is high humidity and I am driving. When we bought the sequioa the salesman actually stated the sequioa had a hard drive to retain light history. I also have been concerned with my frame which was replaced in 2012. I have return to portsmouth Toyota where work was down a few times. My vehicle appears crooked and not aligned they think I am crazy. I practically live in my vehicle I work in hospice so I am very aware of my vehicles look and condition. I would appreciate your assistance with my vehicle, I would like make it to 500000.

Srs airbag light has been on for 8years during driving. I've taken this vehicle to get check at several dealerships & they don't know what's wrong with throughout the years. Finally took it to get check & its discover it's the control module, the programming was dead. Checked VIN & there's a recall status waiting to get approved for the control module as of February 2016. It states it was to be determine by September 2016. I'm now in a waiting to get a reimbursement due to I need a vehicle & have to pay for fixing. The disturbing issue is that I was driving with a defected control module that controls the deployment of airbags. Need this recall to happen quick for others vehicle owners.

Airbag light was flashing mechanic determined the code to was b0132 short in pt squib right circuit ground. Toyota dealer determined the cause was a mechanical failure in the right seat belt assembly in the passenger side. Once that was replaced, the error persisted and determined that the passenger side sensor also has to be replaced. Airbag sensor failure is common in many Toyota models. However, Toyota said that the 2001 Sequoia is not in the recall list.

My 2007 Toyota Sequoia airbag light came on this morning. Called both corporate and local dealership and both advised me to drive vehicle for inspections assuming all risk.

My Toyota Sequoia sr5 is showing some lights in dashboard. First it was the vsc solid light coming on then off on it own, after some months, the airbag light came on then off then solid on, I went to the Toyota dealer to get it check out, and they couldn`t find what is making the airbags light to come on. More recently, I started having a cruise control problem as well. The cruise control will sometimes work and also some other time refuse to work unless you turn the steering wheel over and over again and then it will sometimes kick -in. I have also noticed that the car will loose power while simply driving it, when it does so, the system will still be running but simply will get weak no matter how much gas you`re giving to the pedal. I hope to have this issues investigated since Toyota doesn't really address them when I call them. Warm regards,.

The airbag light has been flashing intermittently for four months. I have taken to Toyota for repair three times and still having the same problem. I have been told by a Toyota service tech that when the light is flashing it shuts the airbag system down.
