Srs warning indicator is continuously showing up in a blinking mode.
Airbag light indicator is on without the car involved in an accident. The repair person(delaer) checked it and says the complete assembly has to be replaced and he is not sure why it went fault. I suspect it is a manufacturing defect with the wiring.
Passenger airbag light on when seat is occupied.
The airbag on/off indicator stays off even when an adult is sitting on the passenger seat. The issue is not there in my 2014 Toyota camry. The dealer koons Toyota verified that sensor is registering correct weight. The dealer states that Toyota does not tell them that at what weight the airbag should turn on. The dealer's test weight of 66lb "on the seat" did not turn it on. The dealer test report is attached. Thanks.

2005 Sienna, srs airbag light came on while driving. Vehicle has not been involved in a crash. Connectors were checked and were secure. Ran scan on srs with innova 3150 and received error code b0101 "open in d squib circuit". After researching online, it seems to be a common problem in the 2005 and 2006 models. There should be a recall. Some dealers just want to replace the entire airbag system, which is an expensive solution. This is a huge safety concern for Toyota.

Airbag light blinking for passenger side. Happened before. Kaiserslautern, germany Toyota dealership said if it happens again that airbag may have to be replaced and it would cost 1,500 to 2,000 dollars. Safety should be not expire within 3-5 year warranty. Should be lifetime until owner owns/has the vehicle. Should be fixed/replaced with no charge. On a different topic, the wheels/rims is another issue. It bubbled/corroded and Toyota said not covered under warranty. Constantly losing air before I bought new aftermarket wheels. Should have been fixed/replaced by Toyota also. Btw, daytime phone is address in chicago. My number for germany is 011 49 6371 56000351.
My wife stated that when she started up the van, the airbag light came on and stayed flashing the entire time she was driving. I checked for myself and found the same issue. I referenced the owners manual which stated that it needs to be taken to service immediately.
Airbag light on all the time.
Driving my daughter home from school the srs indicator light came on in dashboard and began flashing. This is the "drivers side" indicator, not the passenger side indicator located beneath the clock.
The airbag light began blinking. I took it to the dealership for a diagnosis and was told that both air bags would need to be replaced at a cost of nearly $1,500. Our Sienna only has 86k miles on it and has not been in an accident. From my research, this air bag problem with this particular vehicle has garnered several complaints. It is my opionion that this is a known issue at Toyota and should be subject to a recall.
Airbag light on. Dealer says a tiny plastic piece is missing. Toyota doesn't make a plastic piece replacement (probably less than $1) so instead I have to pay about $3000 for an entire new wire harness.
Air bag indicator is blinking in dashboard. This is a continuous issue. Not sure if I should continue to drive with the safety issue.
Tl the contact owns a 2014 Toyota Sienna. When the vehicle was started, the driver's seat reclined on its own and all the warning indicators illuminated. In addition, the air bag indicator remained illuminated and "check srs air bag system" was displayed. The vehicle was taken to sparks Toyota (4855 us-501, myrtle beach, SC 29579, 843-236-2161) where it was diagnosed, but the cause of the failure could not be found. 2006 Toyota Sienna air bag light is lit. Possible air bag malfunction. Received a letter from Toyota to make an appointment to fix the problem, but they want you to pay for the diagnostic test if the part they deemed to be defective is ok. This has not yet led to any crash, injury, etc. If there is a problem with the air bag system, and Toyota is aware of the problem, and they are as evidenced by the letter received, then these cars should be recalled and fixed with out charge to the consumer.
The driver's air bag light blinks on and off. The issue was traced to drivers seat wiring. The seat wires are easily exposed. The wires get in contact with the driver's foot causing damage to the wires. This leads to a problem detecting a wight on the seat that in turn enables the air bags.
Tl - the contact owns a 2006 Toyota Sienna. While attempting to drive the vehicle, the air bag warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified. The failure mileage was 79,529. Jcc.
Airbag light came on so I took my car to the Toyota dealership. I was advised that my airbag wiring harness system needs to be replaced. The van has 79k miles and it was only covered for 3 years/36k miles. How is an unused airbag defective? where is the consumer safety? should be a lifetime guarantee especially since the airbag was unused. Why should my family be at risk for the product that hinders its usability for the purpose for which it was designed for.
Air bag light started blinking when car started and stayed blinking. Brought in to dealer and comments were "open in side. Squib rh circuit" and "needs pass. Side front seat airbag" for $865. Same issue seems true for 2007 Siennas online. Light stopped blinking and has not recurred.

The air bag light comes on as expected when the van is started. Then instead of going out, it flashes the entire time the car is on. This happens intermittently. Sometimes if the van is shut off and restarted, the light will go out. But then a couple days later, it will flash again. I have no idea whether or not my airbags would actually deploy in the event of an accident. Research shows that this is a known issue that has happened to many other people. Repairs are expensive for van owners and the issue returns after repairs. Please consider an investigation of this issue. There are those of us who cannot afford thousands of dollars to even attempt to fix our vans, and we have no choice other than to drive our families around in unsafe vehicles with our fingers crossed that we don't get in an accident. Thank you!.
I started up the van and the airbag light is blinking. I tried to unplug and replug yellow connecter put did not go away.
The src airbag (curtain/side airbag) malfunction indicator went off. It has been below of recently. When I googled it, some people pointed it out to the yellow harness under the front seats. I wiggled it a little as some people suggested and the indicator light went away (I don't know if it may come back again). This is a major safety concern to me. Anyone could easily break the hardness when they pull the tray under seat. Or a car accident when your shoe could accidentally kick the hardness and break it, preventing the side airbag from deploying. It has to be a better way to protect the hardness. Especially here in minnesota with below of the hardness get too cold and may become brittle.
The airbag light comes on and stays on when the vehicle is turned on. If the vehicle is turned off then back on, sometimes the light turns off. Other times, moving the connectors under the front seats causes it to turn off.
Driver air bag light is flashing at any speed and when standing. I check online, there were 13 same reported cases. Some said there was recall on this problem, but I have never received notice of recall from Toyota. Please let me know. This is a safety issue! The air bag light is blinking, indicating the side curtain air bags are not functioning. There is a TSB on this, #0069-12. A search indicates many problems with this that appear related to a defect in the vehicle wiring. This should be recalled and fixed by Toyota.
The driver side airbag light blinks on/off, indicating problems with the airbag. According to my research, this is a common problem with the 2006 Sienna that Toyota is aware of.
