The driver’s side door mirror shakes when going down the road. The image in the mirror becomes shaky. The passenger side is fine, this is only on the driver side. I have brought this into the dealer, but they said it is normal. In 30+ years of driving cars, I have never had a car mirror do this.

I have a Toyota Sienna 2011 xle for 4 years and both doors stops randomly when opening and closing. My daughter was stuck in the car at least 10 times. She afraid to use the car because she repeatedly in danger of falling, the beep sound comes and the door stops suddenly. I used to drove my car leaving my door open once, because the door stuck and I couldn’t realize till I drove. I was lucky, my door didn't hit anyone or any car in the parking lot. The people were looking at my car with scary eyes. Obviously, it creates a safety risk for my family and the people around me. Because a lot of people have the same door problem, I informed Toyota. They responded, they have an extended coverage for the power sliding door cable sub-assembly but it’s expired on 09/16/2021. They know the problem and solved it temporarily without informing the owners and now they said, it’s over, you need to pay it. I am not asking for my seat covers replaced. It’s definitely a security issue, a suddenly stuck door can harm/kill passengers and people around. Toyota knows the problem but refuses to solve it. I don’t want to drive this car with knowing the risk of hurting anyone especially my 6 years old daughter. It’s so shame one of the biggest companies of the world produces risky cars and they continue to sell them with knowing. They shouldn’t risk the people in united states easily like that.

I went on a trip to missouri to visit my son and family. When going through st. Louis on 5/18/2022 I ran through a thunderstorm with a lot of rain. After I stopped, I noticed a puddle of water between the front seats. I could not find out where it came from. Later that same day I went through another storm. Again I found a puddle of water between the seats. This is a vehicle that was modified by vmi into a handicapped accessible van. Water coming in is concerning due to all the electrical components that could be shorted out. I don't want to find out later that there is rust damage nor damage to the electrical systems because of water entering the vehicle.
Like other Toyota Sienna owners, our backseat power doors stopped working. It doesn't close or open. I am really afraid of if we make an accident and can't open the door to move out my child safely. It's a common error in Toyota Sienna s .
The fuel door hinge has separated from the fuel door. The fuel door now opens partially and can impede the proper function of the power sliding door as it opens or attempt to close.

Safety issue: can't open gas door, can't open sliding door gas door cover on the driver's side will not completely latch (faulty hinge issue? ) which prevents the sliding door from opening. Sliding door has issues in moving back and forth. Apparently there was a recall for this issue and I was never notified. When I researched the issue, I found that there was a recall but because my recall is just out of the 10 year time frame, Toyota states they won't pay for the repair of the faulty mechanism and that I have to pay for it out of pocket. Considering there has been a pandemic for the since March 2020, it's hard to believe that they wouldn't honor the repair when I called about it in December. I made a phone complaint to Toyota at the end of December 2021 and no one has returned my call.
My power doors open and won’t close. It takes multiple times to finally get them to close.
The hood crumples like aluminum foil. The hood rod was holding the hood up and the slightest pressure on the hood made it bend. The hood should not bend as easily as it did. The fragility of the hood could cause a serious issue in the event of a crash.
Sunroof exploded while driving.

The last week of September 2021 my husband notice a sound like water runing and a leak on the driver and passenger seats, we take the vehicle to the dealer for an inspection on October 2nd. They said the ac hose was clogged for a spiderweb and the leak can create a mold. This mold can affect my family health. We informed to the insurance and we taked the vehicle to the dealer for repair. They did an expensive special cleaning to remove the mold, and disamble my entire vehicle, the worse is my vehicle still unassembled after 3 months at the dealership. All this happens with out any warning sign, symptoms or light. This vehicle is 3 years old and all services on time and by the same dealership. My vehicle has a lot of technology but not warning about this ac clogged and damage my entire vehicle wich still on repair.

Driver side sliding door stops and reopens when trying to close using power option previous van did the same thing but had a recall. When turning power door option off, it's stopped, doesn't want to budge much and you have to use all of your force to try to close it. This has being going on since 2018 when I bought it but there was no recall so delearship wouldn't touch it.
I was pulling in my driveway when this incident happened. When exiting my vehicle and opening the driver side door this is what occurred. The driver side sliding door cable snapped and could have potentially hit the driver or me and which could have injured a body part especially the eye or hand. It also made a loud popping noise. There was no warning lights that this would happen and now the door will not open which causes a safety hazard because in case of an emergency this door may need to be opened to escape for safety reasons. Thank you for the investigation of this matter.

The rear passenger side sliding door cable and motor assembly on the Toyota Sienna failed, causing the door to become completely inoperative (cannot open nor close) and the broken cable nearly cut my wife as it broke under tension and came flying out toward her as she was trying to close the door normally. The cable and motor had been replaced in 2015. The cable and motor on the rear driver side sliding door was also replaced in 2013 and 2017. The problem was confirmed by woburn Toyota (dealer) and reported to the manufacturer. The manufacturer has confirmed the failure and safety defect, but refuses to provide repairs. No warnings were provided, no recall was issued, and customers were not notified of internal safety bulletin pol12-02 issued by Toyota.

The passenger side door wont open when commanded. Couple years back I took it in for repairs. But the problem still persists.
The car was parked in a parking lot and turned off. We were entering the vehicle and the automatic side door of the van failed to reopen upon sensing something in the way. The door closed and someone's foot with shoe was caught in the closed door.
The drivers side rear door does not open properly all the time, it jams partially open. The car is stationary and not moving.

My son was getting into the van via the driver side sliding door. His backpack bumped the sensor, and the door opened and froze halfway open. I disengaged the automatic opening, but the door had difficulty closing. I noticed that the cable to the sliding door had snapped. I was eventually able to close the door, but now the door will not open at all.
Both side power doors become inoperable if they sit open for more than a few moments. They do not close by switch, key fob, or by pushing. Starting vehicle does not activate or reset. Doors must physically be forced closed. It takes considerable force to close the door. Two complaints to dealer were ignored or Toyota dealer claims this is an intentional design. But has no rational reason for the defect being a design feature. This is a danger to people unable to physically close the door and presents a security flaw for users.
Part # 69300-08011 rear left door latch with power sliding door malfunction causing a safety problem door remained opening and closing could cause passenger or items transporting to fall out of vehicle . It also caused battery to drain vehicle wouldn't start without being jumped even replaced battery with a new battery same thing happened . This part has become a problem in many of these 2004 Toyota Sienna Mini vans . A safety recall need to be concidered .
Power door cable broke, door does not open.
The dashboard is defective. Toyota acknowledge this defect, and issues a free replacement. However, Toyota claims the warranty period has expired, and will not replace my dashboard. Due to covid 19 lockdown, I did not get it fixed earlier, and was not aware that recalls have expiring an expiring date.

Tl- the contact owns a 2011 Toyota Sienna. The contact stated that while driving approximately 35 mph when suddenly the passenger side sliding door open unintentionally. Sliding door cable snapped while opening. Not due to weather.
The driver's side sliding door is broken. We clicked the button to open it and the cable snapped. The car was parked and still in a parking spot on the side of the road.
The cable to my side power panel door snapped yesterday. It is hanging from the side of my car - what doesn't seen right is that the cable is rusty - it looks like it snapped because it is was exposed to moisture. The door is completely unusable - I cannot open it using the manual or power mode. My van is in my temperature controlled garage the majority of the time and there should be no reason that the cable is showing signs of rust other than a design flaw.
The front passenger side bumper snap(s) comes undone, by air flow, as vehicle travels down the road - this causes further tearing of the supporting plastic frame. Local Toyota dealership says this initially was caused by a driver of the vehicle hitting a concrete curb. Note: bottom of the bumper is only 8 inches from ground surface. The safety issue the bumper and its supporting plastic frame will eventually break and fall off vehicle while in transport. I have witnessed this several times on other vehicles (especially on Toyota's). Dealer compounds problem by saying entire bumper has to be replaced at high cost to customer. Customer delays repair (as I have). This causes further damage to the supporting plastic frame. I have gone from one snap to several snaps in duration. I sent corporate Toyota a complaint - essentially, they said they would not do anything .
The contact owns a 2010 Toyota Sienna. The contact stated that the driver's and passenger's side dashboard was sticky and melting. The contact was provided information on regarding an extended warranty on the vehicle regarding the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and confirmed that the extended warranty information was sent out in 2016. The failure mileage was 65,000.

2015 Sienna 5tdyk3dc8fs653720 doors would not close after opening with the keyfob. Could not close doors with the engine running and using internal buttons on all locations had to manually close doors. The vehicle was parked. This happened twice recently, 6/12/2020 and 7/1/2020.
Sliding doors don't properly latched like they are suppose to when attempting to close door causing a safety issue for passengers . It happens when vehicle is parked or motion on road way or in parking space .
