While driving on the highway at 70 mph, vehicle lost power. No response when throttle was pressed. Shifted vehicle to neutral and tried to restart vehicle with no response. Pulled to side of road and noticed a heavy gasoline smell. Tried to restart vehicle, looked under vehicle and noticed gasoline pouring out from the front driver side underneath the vehicle engine compartment. Shut vehicle off and removed family from vehicle. Called towing company, vehicle was towed to mark hipps garage and towing service in newberry, SC. Examination of vehicle noted that a fitting on the fuel line going to the engine had come loose. Technician refitted and tightened connection. Contacted greenville Toyota service center in greenville, SC. They stated there were no recalls on this type of failure.
