When starting the Toyota Tundra the 4lo , vsr, check engine , lights lit up and the vehicle had no power it would 'nt run had to take the battery cable off to reset computer, it cleared the system then the same thing happen a week later took it in to the Toyota service shop and they couldn't find anything wrong with it. I am still having the same problem with the truck almost every other day called Toyota customer care and they told me that's its not covered under a recall . I found out the problem is the secondary air pumps and injection system and have also read that a lot of people are having the same problem.

My issue is related to the issue I am facing with Toyota company. I purchased my truck within 2012 and since I have purchased the truck I took this truck to the dealership for several issues. Within few months of purchase the air injection pump stop working, truck was at the dealership for over a month. Toyota installed trd updated for my "inconvenience" I took my truck back to have looked at over 10times. On Friday I start having the same issues, so I dropped of my truck at the szott dealership on Saturday evening March 1st. Monday morning service manager called and informed that air injection pump is bad and it may take over 4 weeks to have the part replaced, about 4 weeks ago truck stop running so I took it to the dealership close by in canton, Toyota of canton replace the fuel pump, truck was at the dealership for a week. I try reaching out to Toyota and see if they could help me resolve the issue, but Toyota don't care. See below email I sent to Toyota on 12-13. I was assign "case manager" was no help at all. All I am asking Toyota to replace/resolve my truck issues. I am tired of taking my truck for repairs. I will file the complaint to the attorney general's office as well. Issues with cabin is being loud air comes from the windshield and form the left and right doors/windows. Truck was at the dealership last year for over 3 weeks due to the air intake pump issue. I am still facing the same issues while driving truck lose power and while I am pulling over some time I get the power back some time I have to wait to make sure I can drive over 25miles per hour. All the brakes have been replaced due to vibration, navigation system goes in and out while driving, dealership was informed. Whole dash lights electric in the dash flicker while driving. Last month battery died and electric issues are still there.

I recently purchased a set of weatherteck front floor mats part # w40 for my 2006 Toyota Tundra. I ordered these mats under the impression they were a custom fit mat for my vehicle. They include the necessary hooks to attach the mat to the drivers side floor. But this is considered a "generic" mat and sold for all types of vehicles. With the purchaser responsible for modifying them if necessary. The design of the mat positions the right edge directly under the accelerator pedal. When the accelerator is depressed to the floor it will hang on the right edge of the mat. On the weathertech web site it shows 2 pictures of the w40 mat. One of which has the correct shape for the drivers side floor. The other is the wrong design and the one you receive. These mats should not be sold as a "generic" for vehicles they do not fit.

I have a Toyota Tundra 2008, will leaving the bank, I was slowly approaching a stop sign. There was a car in front of me already waiting at the stop sign. I tried to step on the brake, and the floor mat came up over the brake pedal, restricting me from fully pressing down the pedal. I could not stop, I turned my truck to run into the curb and not hit the car in front of me, I hit the curb and ran up on the side walk. While moving slowly I quickly removed the mat from over the pedal, and brought my vehicle to a complete stop. No one was injured, no damage to any property. Now I have received a letter from Toyota today coincidently asking me to turn in my truck for recall.
As I arrived at my home and drove up into my driveway I experienced an unexplained acceleration on my 2008 Toyota Tundra that made me react to slam on the brakes and cause the truck to slide on an unpaved (dirt) surface in my yard and slide into the trunk of a pine tree and damaging the front bumper to my truck. I heard on the news that there was a recall for the floor mats on this vehicle to be removed if it did not have clips to hold the mat in place. My truck does have the clips to hold the mat in place and prevents the acceleration pedal from getting lodged with the mat. I do believe the acceleration problem was caused by an unknown defect and not the floor mat. Currently, the floor mat remains in place on its clips without interference to the acceleration pedal. Today, I received a recall letter from Toyota to remove the floor mat, therefore, I will. Again I don't believe the floor mat was the problem. I just want this complaint documented because it caused around $500 worth of damaged to my truck.
Toyota 2007 thru 2010 I leased a 2007 Tundra double cab and get recall on safety the mat making gas pedal to get stuck and makes veh go 90mp cant stop. Found article in los angeles times saying worries may not come from mats but from brain in veh. Which I believe USA gov. Is making them check if that were the problem is coming fromunder Toyota's runaway car worries may not stop floor mats. I called Toyota southeast finance and told them I did not want this Tundra truck any longer told me they will not take it back has 9k miles on it already had transmission leak cd problems and so forth I need to know how I can have them take this truck back. Who do I contact in state of florida. Can you contact them for me to receive a complaint form to be put in their files I don't want this time bomb.

My 2004 Toyota Tundra double cab has an excessive amount of rust on the undercarriage. Because of this rust, the camber bolts cannot be removed to properly align the vehicle. I have been told that they will have to use heat to remove them, along with a lot of force, and in turn may do frame damage in the process. I have been quoted by my dealer $5,200 to fix the problem which initially started with a small shimmy in the steering wheel which grew into a big shimmy especially while towing. That quote does not include any possible charged from the body shop if damage to the frame should occur. I do not have $5,200 so I ended up with a new set of tires and half of an alignment because the camber bolts were not able to be removed. Here I am months later and my new tires are so bald on the front that I am actually seeing the tread showing through. I have always loved my Tundra, but all of this rust on the frame and undercarriage is very concerning regarding the longevity of my vehicle. I was told that Toyotas last forever. At this point I feel that my truck is dangerous to even drive but it is my only vehicle. I have owned and maintained many vehicles and never had rust issues like this, nor have I ever been faced with such a costly repair on a not so old vehicle. I am stuck in a bad place and just don't know where to go or what to do. I desperately need my truck. Without it I lose my source of transportation as well as my ability to earn a living. I just simply cannot afford. . . Meaning I just do not have this kind of money to bring my truck back to health. All of this stress and frustration is a result of this excessive rust. Included in the estimate is remove and replace camber bolts $1,957 --- steering rack boots 400. 00 alignment 90. 00---- driveshaft assembly $2,003---- rear u-joint $433. 00---- differential fluid $330. 00 it does not include any possible damage to the frame/body in their attempt to remove the camber bolts or another brand new set of tires.

Toyota 2007 Tundra twice accelerated uncontrollably due to a stuck accelerator on the factory floor mats, which are a very thick rubber and don't come with safety clips. Mat was moved back but fear it may slide forward again.
My young son (7) was attemping to play the video station that is part of my new Toyota Tundra's video system. The unit started to catch fire. Within a minute of being plugged in into the behind the headrest video, it started to smoke, black smoke. I quickly pulled over the truck, ran to the back and took the unit out of my son's hands before he was injured. The unit was extremely hot.
