Vw clock spring recall investigation driving down the road at 35-40 mph and the car beeps with "error: airbag" then the steering wheel made a weird noise. The horn and controls on the steering wheel are not working. I took it to the vic bailey vw dealership and they said it was the clock spring that needed to be replaced. I know there is an investigation into the previous recall and I believe that my car was affected but not included in the recall.
There could be an interruption in electrical power to the fuel pump control module. This could result in the fuel pump running continuously, resulting in a drained battery and/or a no start condition, or cause a loss of motive power while the vehicle is in motion, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. In addition to takata recall.

"takata recall" we contacted our local Volkswagen dealer over 6 months ago to get our airbag recall taken care of. To date, the problem has not been resolved or even placed on the schedule. Our local dealer has blamed vw corporate the entire way. We are going on vacation July 14th-21st 2018 and reached out to vw corporate for help in the way of a loaner vehicle. After an hour and a half on hold, they have not come up with any suitable options. They are refusing a rental car and can not guarantee that our car will be fixed before we leave. We do not feel safe in this car and we've been driving it daily because we have no other choice. Our children will be in this card during vacation and vw doesn't seem to care.
Takata recall I took my car in to get my airbags replaced with a newer version to rusty wallce Volkswagen Nov. 10nth today my driver airbag inflated as soon as I parked it. The key was in the ignition and I was far away from any other car. Im glad im ok but this could have been much worse. I am very upset that this happened. I drive a 2009 Volkswagen Cc. What is the purpose of fixing a faulty recall with another damaged part.

We had the passenger air bag replaced due to a recall, ever since the dash lights, air bag and others have been coming on, now they stay on all the time. The vw garage said it was the passenger occupant detection module. This did not happen until after we had the passenger air bag replaced.

Takata recall.
Takata recall. I received a postcard over a year ago from my dealership stating that they would contact me when the replacement airbags were available. I have never heard back from the dealership of vw.
17v509 recall #. Fuel pump control module could cause power outage and already has. Twice. And they are still refusing to fix this. I've had to replace my battery and two months later was stranded because I lost power while stationary.
Takata recall / fuel pump control module there has been no remedy/repair for either of these recalls and I am concerned for the safety of myself, my family and other vehicles. I am not satisfied with the notice I received stating that there is a serious issue with my car and there is no remedy for it. I cannot continue to dive my vehicle in fear of a malfunction that could take my life.

Takata recall. And also have the 20ae recall which is an interruption in electrical power to the fuel pump control module. My vehicle was in motion when it suddenly stopped and turned off in the middle of the road. Leaving me 9 months pregnant straded in the middle lf the road with my 4 year old in the back seat on our way to take her to school.
Takata recall I have bought a pre-owned 2013 vw Cc from a dealership earlier this year (Feb/March 2017). I was not notified of any open recalls or that there might be one. Since finding out about the recall, I have been trying to set up an appointment with vw dealers around me, but was told that there are no fixes available and that all I can do is wait for the fix to be implemented. I am not sure what to do at this point. I have consistent 1+ hour drives and I am not comfortable with the knowledge that there is an active recall for a serious issue for the vehicle I rely on daily. Additionally, I am not able to trade in the car due to the recall, unless I accept unreasonably low offers.

Takata recall I have been issued several notices of airbag recall for my Volkswagen. Myself and my husband have made phone calls to the local dealership and have been told unable to repair. Received another notice last week and contacted delearshio again. This phone call has not been returned but was told by person on the phone that the repair would probably not occur due to no parts.
Takata recall I have tried several times to have the required airbag recall fixed and I am still being told by the dealership that they still do not have the parts required to fix my vehicle.

I received a notice that my fuel pump was being recalled for safety precautions. I immediately called my local vw dealership and they proceeded to tell me that even though this was a safety issue, the part was not yet available for the dealerships to repair. I have had issues with the car not going when I press on the gas and then all of a sudden it goes from 5 mph-55 mph without me initiating it. This is very scary especially considering I have no choice but to transport my precious children to and from school and work everyday in this defected vehicle.

Takata recall. It has been several years since I as notified of the recall. I check periodically with the service department at the dealership and they can tell me nothing. When I inquire at vwusa or vw customer service I do not receive a reply.
I was informed that my vehicle was recalled, vehicles in the states with high temperatures would receive priority treatment. I was informed that parts were not available. I was informed that vw was not attempting to pursue these recalls as they had not experienced any faulty vw mishaps with takata airbags. They said that hondas and other automobiles that were experiencing these incidents. No rental was made available upon request though they did say that may happen but it wasn't set up as of then. . As a leasee I informed the local dealer where I purchase my vw that I would like to turn in my car early (it was due in may) and that the car was in mint condition and under mileage. I gave my reasons to the general manager, the service department and I had made several calls to NHTSA. All were in agreement that I lived in a state where priority should be given. However, the attitude from vw was that they felt no urgency to push through for these recalls as they were not liable. Yet. My safety was not an issue with vw. I am now looking at a bill for early turn-in for $821. 82 this included a tiny corner on a tiny wing window( that does not open) where their factory installed solar film was installed and starting to lift at one of the edges. I never saw this and they never showed me at turn in. Lastly, they informed me at the local auction the car would likely sell and that was that. Handed the keys over, no paperwork to sign and out the door we went. My husband and I were stunned at the lack of customer service that this dealership displayed not only with regard to the recall but to the handling of their customers during service and the many phone calls I have received since asking if I want to purchase another vehicle when my lease is up. Not too much communication going on there as its been three months since I no longer have a vw. Nor will I ever again.
I have received 3 safety notices regarding the takata air bag since late 2015 when I came into ownership of my vehicle (vw Cc) for which I have been unable to have replaced. After speaking with a rep from vw of san bernardino on 4/25/17, I was informed again the part needed to perform the replacement is in short supply with no time line on when it will become available. I was also told takata is not actively releasing the part needed for the recall and that I would be notified whenever it becomes available.
