Tl the contact owns a 2012 Volkswagen Cc. The contact stated that the vehicle would not immediately start. While driving, the speed would suddenly decelerate and the engine stalled. The contact also indicated that gray colored exhaust fumes were present coming from the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, but the cause of the failure could not be determined. The local dealer and manufacturer were not notified of the failures. Engine keeps stalling, had fuel pump replace per 4th recall for this vehicle. The car still stalls, extremely dangerous while driving especially on the highway when I have two kids in the car. The car wont go in reverse like a normal car bc it stalls too, I have to turn the car off and then back off to be able to reverse. I was driving down a small ramp on in a parking garage, the car stall again. No one is able to help me and volksagen keeps telling me my engine light is on and I keep telling them it comes on when my car stalls! I feel like im in a death car, I rather walk instead of drive my Volkswagen and very frustrating that I have to pay this loan when the car constantly stalls on me. Hard for me to trade in as well bc I owe about 6k and im in medical school. Can someone anyone please give me tips on how to handle this situation.

My left tire blew out and I had no flat tire indicator on my dashboard while travelling full speed on the freeway. The next day my engine stalled with no warning of low/no oil in my car. Both of the issues could have caused a fatality or multiple fatalities when a 2012 vw Cc luxury just stops with no warning. I have called vw corporate and of course they stated they cannot help me since this repair is not a recall item: however, I see tons of complaints regarding the 2. 0 engine in my car manufactured by vw. This matter needs to be resolved immediately and not ignored. Vw needs to cover my engine cost at 100% they know it is faulty and to completely ignore all the complaints before mine is asinine.

Engine stalled and died in the middle of city hwy, twice, while vehicle was in motion, without any prior warning, took to dealer they said it might be the alternator & only replaced the battery, it was such a scary situation, I have not driven the car on the freeway since. Recently, the car has stalled again, while in motion in middle of traffic vehicle was towed to dealer, accoring to dealer, there is carbon build up in valves & coil pack failure, not covered by warranty due to 'maintenance issue' nowhere in owner manual does it state any form of maintenance required for this, took car to independent certified mechanic,sparkplugs & 4 coil packs replaced, same symptoms continue with #4 plug burning out,causing fuse to burn out as well, filling car with smoke & smell of burnt rubber, ind mech. States vehicle's prob is not carbon buld up but an electrical/engine issue which is a safety hazard, the last time,veh stalled on me in middle of crossroad, whle in moion. I do not feel safe driving it or riding my kids in it. At this moment veh is sitting in driveway, undriveable for about 3 weeks, will not turn on, all this, after having the vh for on ly 7 months, & @ over 40k miles. I feel that even if it were repaired, this veh is so unsafe it should not be resold to anyone else, or be in circulation at all. I tried returning it to the dealer, the dealer offered to take it in as a trade in offering half the trade in value due to 'condition it is in' even though I have taken it to dealer at east 3 times with issues. Main concern is the stalling while in motion, I feel it is an extremely unsafe vehicle.

The engine stalled while driving( speed 5-10mph). Steering wheel immediately automatically locked,lost control over the car. The computer showed a problem with the battery (the sign was displayed for a few seconds). Pushed the brakes - brakes worked. Removed the key and started the car again, the car started up and everything has stabilized.
