My airbag light came on while driving and has remained on. It is on while idling and driving. It never goes off. There was no collision or anything to cause it to come on. I fear there might be something faulty happen while I drive. Also I've been having issues fueling my 2005 Escalade. It will only let me put in $1. 00 maybe $1. 50 at a time and the pump will kick off. I've even had gas spill out while this is occurring. The gas spill has happened twice and the fuel tank was almost empty. So it wasn't overfill. Also, my air conditioner, at times will just get hot while driving. If I stop and turn off the vehicle and turn it back on, the air will return to cold. And it smells like burning wires. I have been routinely looking to see if there is a recall on this vehicle through this website.

Airbag light came on while we took a trip to big bear with friends, technician discovered the connectors under the front passenger seat were melted, got the connectors changed, airbag module replaced, airbag light is still on. I own a rental company and I'm not able to rent the vehicle due to the passenger airbag recall for the past year, and gm won't do anything about it. This recall needs to be performed.

The truck was in motion on street and on freeway, the speed drops and it feels like it's going to cut off. The windows will not go up or down, the radio shuts off and, all the dashboard lights are on. This has happened at least 3 separate times (twice this year) different dates. There should be 3 pictures shown of that. -last week the vehicle would not start, the battery is 1 yr. Old- good, the radio would not come on, interior lights all worked. Towed to a shop diagnostic was the passenger airbag modular. The airbag light still won't go off. -when the vehicle was purchased in 2015 the service suspension alert was on, the dealer (suburban Cadillac in sterling heights, mi) said "don't worry about it right now", this year there the truck started making a buzzing noise. Every mechanic diagnosis something different. Of course the warranty ran out before it started.

We have been receiving letters about the takata airbag recall & I also have the carfax app that states the recall & also the airbag light came on. We took the car to the local dealer after they took our appointment to repair the airbag then they kept the car all day to get a call that there is no fix for the airbag therefore they can't turn the airbag light off either. We really need to sell this car as we have a high payment & we need to reduce our monthly payments. This is hard to do when the airbag light is on. My husband had been dealing with many many people, supervisors, gm etc & nobody seems to want to help. (interesting that my brother has the same recall on his Lincoln & he's in a rental car). We are taking a life threatening risk every time we drive this car as there is someone always in the passenger seat whether it's one of our kids, ourselves or another friend etc.
