Every so often my service air bag light will appear on the dash upon starting the vehicle. I thought it could have something to do with moving the seats back and forth and a wire issue. I received a safety recall for the passenger side frontal airbag inflator shortly after this started happening. When I called about repairing the recall they said they didn't have parts available to correct this issue. I have children that ride in the front and I'd hate for this to explode while driving down the road on them or anyone for that matter. When will there be a solution? how will we know the part is available? please fix ASAP!!.

Takata recall - have made numerous attempts to clarify recall at dealership with no conclusion. Dealership says no recall and replacement is available although we have received information that the vehicle is affected by the takata defect. In a letter tk holdings inc it specifically reads in bold script, "if your vehicle contains a defective or potentially defective airbag inflator and is under recall, contact your nearest dealership immediately to schedule a free repair. " dealership says they no nothing about this. I read that gm had until August 2017 to remedy situation but have not heard results.

Recieved notice last year involving takata inflators and was directed to contact my local vehicle manufacturer (johnson motors of augusta) for recall and repair. It has been over a year with no repairs or replacement scheduled of the recalled takata inflator.

Takata recall - has been issued since may 27, 2016. I always have passengers in my car who mean a great deal to me and I am very concerned for their safety! I want my airbags to be in perfect working order as soon as possible! we live in a very hot region of the country and this puts us in greater risk of having a defective airbag inflators. This is unacceptable and needs to be remedied immediately! I currently have warning lights lit up on my dashboard warning me of issues with my airbags, this is what has prompted me to look into the recall status.

"takata recall" I have called dealerships in my area (ken batchelor & cavendar) & according to their service departments the takata airbag inflators are not available; nor, do they have any idea if they ever will be. Leaving me & my family in danger of injury or death!.

Takata recall airbag inflators, have not yet been replaced. I received my recall notice in 2016 and have taken my vehicle to ron carter dealership in friendswood, TX where the vehicle was purchased, however, I was informed that the replacement part was not in and it will be indefinitely. The truck has a hard time accelerating when trying to keep speed or trying to go to a higher speed, also a noise is coming from the vehicle after I turn on the ignition. I was informed by ron carter Cadillac that I needed to file a claim once I receive the recall notice to fie a claim on or about 10/2017. I have been trying to get my vehicle recall taken care of since 11/2017 not to long after I purchased the vehicle approximately July 2017.

Takata recall: why hasn't this been resolved? the issue was identified in may, 2016!!! what are the Cadillac folks doing to answer this danger? this delay is unacceptable, and, should I, or anyone driving my car, become involved in an accident where additional damage(s) or harm occurs due to rupture of the airbag inflators, I will take all legal action necessary.

Dealer has yet to resolve the takata airbag inflators for my model. There has been pently of time resolve and replacements have been pending for over a year and a half.

Takata airbag inflators recall were received by me since may 2016. I have been checking with the dealership since then and am told they do not have the parts or are unaware of what to fix as nothing is on their bulletin advising them what to do. I am unable to get the recall scheduled due to this, and am concerned that by being unable to have the recall taken care of, presents a life threatening situation and daily danger to me with driving on the road with defective airbags.

Recalled takata airbags from gm & nothing happening. . . Nothing has happened yet. . . Are they waiting for people to die from these inflators?.
