Driving 94 west bound jumped off my seat and remembered I didn't just hit anything on the road. Tire passed me and seatbelt strangled me when it pulled. Grabbed ahold of steering wheel and made sure not to hit any objects or anyone. Something hit my face and got discombobulated from the seatbelt. Had to remember that I needed to unbuckle seatbelt. All airbags deployed except steering wheel airbag vehicle was flipped. Crawled out of the vehicle picked up by ambulance to hospital. Not on my right temple wer went down, discharged and loss of the taste and smell except smell of brain matter from within followed by fluid drip in nasal cavity.

Er to case number: case#9-6698447273v 3136671128 vera Cadillac case escalated and I am not getting through. Just want to make sure that I made the effort to each our to dealerships and headquarters to no avail. And if this is really is what is happening, this is what really need to be done properly: per lemon vehicle with extended warranty program, with defective equipment (manufacturer’s defects)failure to service right rear tire request per fotainment alert. Plus steering wheel airbag failure to inflate and deploy upon collision, resulting internal injuries, including, but not limited to loss of smell and loss of taste due to this defective automobile. Also note: diagnostics mentioned vehicle was up for a possible recall with its fuel system.
I keep receiving reminders by mail and email regarding the takata airbags installed in my vehicle. I have returned my Cadillac to my local dealership and was told that there are no parts available to repair it. They informed me that it is safe to drive. Can you give me a status of my vehicle?.

Nothing has happened other than there is a current airbag recall on this vehicle. Many other makes and models also have this takata airbag issue and they have been fixed/or replaced and the recall is lifted. Yet Cadillac/gm is still refusing to have this done so I am currently driving a vehicle which the NHTSA says it not safe yet Cadillac says it is and no one has taken the step forward to remedy this problem. My husband recently passed away in a horrifying manner and all I want to do is give my stepson who lives in canada (I live in los angeles) I just want to give my stepson his fathers truck and because no one wished to solve this problem I am unable to do this. I simply cannot understand how the NHTSA can allow us to drive a vehicle they deem to be unsafe yet not force Cadillac/gm to solve this problem they feel is no problem. Can you imagine the possible lawsuit that could be placed against Cadillac/gm and NHTSA if anyone was to get seriously injured because none of you took the step forward to force to have this issue solved just like Toyota, BMW, Tesla, SAAB and so many others have done. Someone needs to do something rather than allow this issue to sit in a state of limbo as "incomplete/remedy not available. And what a name a person would make for themselves to push this to be solved. Some has to help me, please! I just want my stepson to have his fathers truck. . Please help me!!!!.

The air bag issue not being repaired has caused electrical issues. It has cause the locks to go up and down, the raidio to quit and not come on, all electronics in dash to stop working while driving and I ran off the road because I had no control. Took it to a mechanic that was able to let me drive it and not the electrical issues are back. It completely shut down while I was turning on a bypass and I almost got hit. I had to have it towed. It did not show any codes to the mechanic and it did the exact same thing to me yesterday. This vehicle will get me killed if it is not repaired.

I have three separate situations with my 2009 Cadillac Escalade platinum. The upper dash closer to the window is cracked on both the driver and passenger side. Also the Cadillac Escalade woodgrain sign located on the passenger side dashboard is cracked as well. Is this a defect? my vehicle is typically stored in the garage but yet and still my dashboard is cracked. Lastly, I received a letter from Cadillac regarding the recall/replacement airbags back in 2015. I called lindsay Cadillac of alexandria to schedule a replacement; however, their response is there no airbags available. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

While in motion - the Cadillac Escalade's airbags all suddenly deployed. There was no collision or impact that preceded the incident. The police officer on scene was also quite surprised. The driver of the vehicle suffered bruises, and a mild concussion. The other occupants were safe. However, the deployment of these airbags with no collision or reason represents a major safety hazard.

My vehicle has a recall on it for the takata airbags. I spoke to general motors (conversation #9-5580708180) and they said there is nothing that can be done until NHTSA provides a solution. The fact remains I am driving a vehicle with an outstanding recall that I can't get fixed.
I have a 2007 Cadillac Escalade and it has a takata airbag that is not have a fix. Several hundreds of people have already died fro the recall. I cannot sell my car due to the open unfixable recall. What do I do? jill.
I have a recall notice but the dealer states that gm says there's nothing wrong with the airbags and refused to replace them! I've written to gm and received a phone call from someone from "customer service" who told me that Cadillac says there's nothing wrong with my air bags. In the meantime my car has a recall which has reflected in such a low trade in value that I can't even sell my car. Now the light is on that says to "service air bags" and Cadillac wants to charge me over $1300 to "service" the air bags they won't replace. Since we live in florida, where it's hot and humid, the conditions make it even more likely that the propellant can degrade and if deployed can cause serious or fatal injury. And since both my husband and I are elderly and disabled, this causes even more concerns.
My vehicle is part od a takata air bag recall and gm refuses to do anything about it. I have called periodically asking when the repair would happen and was told it is being phased in and I will get a notice. I just called again and the new answer is that gm doesn't think they should have to replace this and will not do anything until their objection can be resolved. They will not commit to replacing my recalled airbag.

It is clearly outlined on the gm and NHTSA websites that my specific vehicle has a defective airbag by the takata corporation based on a finding in 2016. I do not understand why I am not allowed to make my vehicle safe and must "wait" per the gm website which states recall status incomplete. Remedy not yet available. What do I need to do to get the airbags replaced with safe ones in order to make my vehicle safe for me and my family to drive in? let this be notice that if anything happens to me or my family due to the three (3) year delay and current remedy of "not yet available" to make my vehicle safe I will take all appropriate legal action against all parties involved!! I want my vehicle approved to be repaired!!.
Nothing happened I want this fixed before it does.
Takata recall passenger airbag replacement gm still hasn't done anything.
