Adaptive Equipment Problems of Cadillac SRX

While standing at the rear of auto with power lift hatch open. . I was moving some objects around and noticed that the hatch was closing , being startled a was getting pinched into the opening by the hatch door. . I pushed real hard with my back and did escape serious harm, now I'm watchful when in the back and hatch is open and I'm under the door. . It does start coming down slowly after being open for a couple of minutes. . Very dangerous. . Please advise.

Ongoing issues with the vehicle transmission and speedometer since the vehicle was purchased. The findings are as follows: there has been more than 10 recalls on this vehicle. Still no resolution to the problem.

The dashboard panel which displays the backup camera is very erratic. As I put the car in reverse it may or may not rise to display what is behind. If it does rise it may go up and down several times while backing up thus rendering this safety feature (the backup camera) totally useless if not dangerous.
