2011 Cadillac Srx with 20,000 miles on it had the entire wheel hub come apart. Bolts fell out and the remaining bolts were all loosened. This problem ruined the caliper and brakes. I was lucky that I was not driving on the highway very often as I could have had a very serious crash.

The contact owns a 2008 Cadillac Srx. While driving at approximately 25 mph, the contact noticed a rattling sound in the front end of the vehicle. He took the vehicle to an independent mechanic who informed him that both front calipers were worn. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealership where he was informed that the vehicle was outside the bumper to bumper warranty and the repair costs would not be covered. The vehicle had not been repaired at the time of the complaint. The failure mileage was approximately 51,300. The current mileage was approximately 51,350.
