Abs failure. All three abs isolation valves closed either at start of breaking or prior to braking cycle, resulting in no possible depression of the brake petal and absolutely no braking what so ever, literally none. The vehicle continues at whatever speed the vehicle was at before initiation of braking. This no brake condition happened intermittently as speeds from 15mph to highway speeds. Upon releasing break pressure (taking one's foot of the petal) and reapplying the breaks the left front abs isolation valve would DE-energize and give the driver the left front break only. This failure was intermittent over the last year and not witnessed by me until 1/13/2018. The abs fuse was removed and the brakes remain without abs function. This is a major failure that could have caused a deadly accident and most probably has. But, since it is intermittent and dead people can't testify you probably do not have much of a data base. Also, as an engineer myself, this is a catastrophic failure that should precipitate the complete deactivation of automated functions of all vehicles worldwide until such time as all automated functions can be overridden by manual inputs without failure to comply with manual inputs.
