Charging hatch door will not open. First noticed the problem when it got very cold here. <-15f did not try to pry door open. Hatch needs to be reliable iin all weather. Happened December 13, 2025.

The car due to the parking brake system recall lost control, the brakes would not stop and caused the vehicle to crash into 2 parked cars, landing on top of the 2nd vehicle which was a pick up truck.

On 10/29/25 I brought the vehicle in to richard lucas Chevrolet due to the alert from my insurance CO that there was a recall with parking brake system. The dealership checked the car and told me they had to order the part that was needed due to the recall. Prior I also made the dealer aware that the car had recently stalled on me in the middle of the street, I was told by the dealership that this was apart of the recall! the dealership allowed me to drive the car and stated to me that they would call me when the part comes in! 2 days later on 11/1/25 while driving the car lost control, the brakes wouldn't stop and I crashed into 2 parked cars and landed on top of the second parked car which was a pickup truck! all of the airbags deployed and my body is pretty messed up from this horrific crash and this has caused fear in me of driving!.

My windshield is defected with no real time when a replacement can be ordered. . The interior lining is not sealed properly which is causing a buckling effect by drivers and passengers visors. . Rain is getting inside and soaking into the dashboard causing the electrical system on screens to blink in and out finally my brake harness is still on recall and my car has been shifting into park which could cause severe problems if I am on the highway. .

1. The vehicle does not recognize it's in park periodically and will not shut off 2. Thermostat housing and thermostat failure 3. Tint covered chrome on exterior of body peeling off only had the car 3 weeks currently at dealership repairing thermostat out of pocket.

To whom it may concern, I own a 2021 Chevrolet Blazer I have been noticing a very large amount of water on the front floor boards since this discovery the windows being moist in the mornings make sence l. The windshield has been replaced several times with no obvious leaks at this location. There is no visible leaks during heavy rain or car washing, the biggest concern I have it if there's moisture I am more likely to develop electrical problems not to mention the moldy smell in the vehicle. I have done extensive research and found this to be a problem with most Chevrolet Blazer's my question is does Chevrolet have a solution to the problem that has found its way to many customers. I would believe with the number of complaints the Chevrolet engineers are working on a solution or a reason for this problem. Component/system involved: the shift-to-park sensor in my 2020 chevy Blazer is malfunctioning. After shifting into park, the vehicle does not detect it and displays a “shift to park” message. The issue is ongoing, and the component is available for inspection if needed. Safety risk: the vehicle cannot be fully shut off or locked, increasing the risk of battery drain or unintended movement. This poses a safety risk if the vehicle is left in public or on an incline. Inspection history: the vehicle has not been inspected warning signs: the “shift to park” message appears when trying to turn off the vehicle, despite the gear being in park. This started around fall 2024 and has occurred regularly since.

My car caught on fire for no apparent reason. Front of car totally destroyed.

1. The car allow driver to push power off ( engine off) when car is not in p. Which is a hazard since driver always want to brake off and get off the car when push power off button. The incident is when I push power off button and open the driver door and almost ready to get off and realize the car is moving since shifter is not in p which is very dangerous that might hit surrounding and injure drive 2. When car driver door is open, allow driver shift to r or d with the alarm( sound) off. The insident is when I was backing up my car with door not fully closed. I see the door open indication light shows on cluster with 2s alarm then alarm went off and car start moving back. It is really a safety hazard that driver may on the road or freeway with door not fully closed.

On June 1 I parked my Blazer in the driveway and went into the house and came back out to my car in flames. I have had lots of electrical issues with the vehicle had it in the dealer to be repaired and reset several times. It was never fixed and now it has gone up in flames.

Tl-the contact owns a 2002 Chevrolet Blazer. The driver's side door hinged failed to close there was an abnormal humming noise detected and vehicle rocked and the tire blew out. . The abs, air bag, and parking brake warning indicator lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to tom joyce automotive 18260 paulson dr unit d3 port charlotte, FL 33954 where diagnosed that the door, pins, and hinge needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired however the failure recurred while driving the drivers door detached. The brake line was wrapped underneath the vehicle. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 128,000. Ap.

I purchased this vehicle in February 2015 with 71,000 - the body was very well kept inside and out. What I didn't know was the extensive amount of rust and corrosion under the vehicle, which did not show initially. I have only had same a little over a year and have had to already replace front arm joints because they snapped in half and my tire was sitting crooked and in danger of falling off!! fuel lines had to be replaced because they completed rusted through and gasoline was leaking out all over. The driver door was checked 2x as it does not shut correctly and I can hear wind getting into the vehicle while driving (not to mention water pouring in over the driver's side door and door controls), the brakes go completely to the floor (despite being fixed), the abs light and check engine light stay on despite being checked - this truck design is terrible and it now rides and sounds like a bucket of bolts. I have had many trucks from GMC jimmy, Chevrolet trailblazer, etc. - I have never had one that has gone completely sour in so short a time. I have also read the numerous accounts of people in accidents with this year vehicle and the brakes failing and airbags not deploying - I am seriously scared to drive this vehicle anymore. I am a single mother of 2 and thought I was purchasing a reliable vehicle for my family from a reputable company. I see that most of the complaints - if they were investigated by chevy - were deemed "no problem found" and swept under the rug. What do I do?! I have already spent over $1,000 to fix this vehicle and it still has issues - I simply cannot afford to keep sinking $$ into a vehicle that is going to bleed me dry.

The driver side door striker and door latch are defective. The striker has no rust and is not in position to latch the door tight that leaves a gap between the door and body. The door latch after opening the door remains in a closed position and need to manually lift the lock in order to shut the door.

While driving in the parking lot of lowes, the door hinge on drivers side failed along with latch allowing it fall off. Making door unclosable and car undrivable. After taking it to repair shop, mechanic showed me several other 2004 chevy Blazers with the exact same same hinge failure. He has repaired so many of them with the same problem he concluded it must be a defect. Repair cost for this are estimated at $1k as the hinge must be replaced and re enforced, along with the drivers door and locking latch.

Drivers door hinges are loose casing damage to the door latch and door flying open.

The tread from a uniroyal laredo tire came off while I was driving on the freeway. I lost control of my vehicle momentarily until I was able to countersteer to correct the weaving and unstable driving of my vehicle. As the tread came off it damaged my wheel well, undercarraige behind the wheel, rear bumper and body trim. I had my son and three of his friends in the car at the time.

Crash- I was doing 25 mph when after hitting a deer swerved hit my front end on the corner of a hill and my vehicle went on to its side. There was hardly any damage done to the front end because I didn't hit very hard ,but because of the side damage the vehicle was 500 dollars from being totaled. 2003 chevy Blazer.

Blazer feels as if it is going to roll over in high winds, shakes, on the highway you feel like you are on a roller coaster ride. Blazers are supposedly the deadiest vehicles on the road today.

Body seams leaks water to the inside of my car. It was thought to be my sunroof, which dealer repaired and then replaced. The water caused all inside lights to short out (third repair). It was on the the fourth time to the service that it was found the actual body seams were leaking.

Water somehow gets into the b-pillar of the driver's side when it rains or the vehicle gets put through the carwash. Customer noticed the seat belt was soaked when pulled out. Customer is worried about seat belt strength diminishing and failing in an accident. Since the belt is wet all the way to the end when pulled out, the mechanism that ravels up the belt must be wet also. Rusting and mechanism failure could result. Seatbelt also is mildewing and starting to smell.

The plastic running board is loose and cut the driver's leg.

I am extremely disappointed in the paint job of my chev. Blazer zr2 (2000). The paint has "egg shelled" in two spots. The finish on the roof rack and window trims is peeling and fading. The tire rack is rusted in all the joints. The paint did not hold up and is very distasteful.

Due to location of drainage hose, the top pin hinge on passenger and driver doors rusted out. Consumer has contacted dealer. The hinge bushings are showing signs of wear, the dealer admits there is a problem with the drain locations, consumer states with the corrosion present on the hinge pins there is a possibility of breaking.

It may seem small, but the band hangs down from visor, & seriously impairs vison.
