In 2003, the engine light came on, the air pump, breather, hose and fuse kit needed to be replaced, I paid out of my own pocket for this repair. In 2004, the service engine light came on, the same items needed to replaced and again the dealership wanted me to pay over $600 for service when last year it was over $300. I have replaced both upper and lower ball joints because of cracking noise, everytime I turned left. I replaced the hubs, because a cracking noise. Chevrolet and the dealership were no help, other than they agreed to pay half for air pump repair. Both didn't care for my situation. I was told by the representative from Chevrolet that my next purchase on a gm product get the extended warranty, because gm makes "junk", so protect yourself! nice attitude!.

There is an error code in teh computer p0410 the secondary injector needs to be replaced again and again, it was covered under warranty the first time. Then wemoved to massachusetts and the light came on again which I then got it fixed and paid for it on my own because it wasn't under warranty, and the light came on again with teh same code p0410 the secondary air injector. I haven't been abel to get the vehicle inspected due to teh error code becuase it caused an emmsisions failure. The second time cost me $400, I've looked on the internet only to find that many other poeple have the same problem and no recall has been issued as of yet. I have contacted Chevrolet about the problem, which to no avail they would not cover the part orany cost of a new one. The vehicle was still not inspected nor will ever be because replacing the part apperently wasn't the problem. Is there anything the NHTSA could do in this situation?.
When putting gas into vehicle and after getting back into vehicle, consumer can smell gas fumes. They usally stay in vehicle for a few minutes. Contacted dealer, and the dealer replaced a canister, but the problem still exits.
Three of the fuel injectors started leaking at the same time causing the oxygen sensors to burn out, which should have been detected when the vehicle was in for drivability problems on previous occasions with no correction. All the front ball joints had to be replaced before 35000 miles due to failure, which resulted in severe noises and vibration in cab of vehicle.

Both O2 sensors have been replaced (at seperate time in past 4 months). Upper/lower ball joints are in need of replacement. According to dealership (desantis Chevrolet) should have never passed inspection in April. Have had problem with abs since purchase of the vehicle. First recall did nothing to fix problem. Abs can't tell difference from wet & dry pavement. Abs will kick in when slowing down on gravel at 20mph, but not at faster speeds on wet pavement.
Oxygen sensor failed.
Consumer states the exhaust gas recirculation valve was damaged and the oxygen sensor are not working as they should.
