Headlights Problems of Chevrolet Blazer

Headlights flash or stay on either low or hi beam,hatch opens itself, awd poping, noise in dash, shifting into awd by itself, transmission not shifting correctly . There is no pattern and it throws no codes. Major electric problems. The keyless entry pad didn't work the day I purchased my car. Had a new one installed 3 programs and now all this started.

Headlights stop working several times with no warning. Drivers side power window has been replaced 3 times. On the highway . It is very scary when you lights quit working. You have to turn on brights to be able to see.

The low beam headlights went out simultaneously while I was driving at night. I proceeded to the auto parts store, bought new bulbs and changed them out but they still did not come on. All other lights are working including the high beams. I see there are recalls for the same problem listed online for 2007 tb's but when I checked with gm/Buick I was informed that my VIN was not listed in the recall due to it not being on the production line at a certain plant. Yet with further research there are numerous complaints from other tb owners with the same issue as the recalled VIN's which should show this is a parts issue. I was referred to the dealership by gm/Buick a diagnostic of which I will have to pay for because my vehicle was on a different production line for a part that clearly appears to be defective!.

The contact owns a 2002 Chevrolet Blazer. The contact stated the headlights would fail intermittently. The vehicle was taken to a local repair facility where the headlight module switch assembly was replaced. The failure persisted. The vehicle was not further repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure and current mileages were 110,000.

Lights on dashboard for 4x4/2x4 began flashing while driving. Vehicle was in normal mode. Also, service 4 wd drive light came on. Took to country cehvrolet in warrenton, va-advised of 4wd problem also advised check engine light comes on, headlights dim occassionally when driving. In addition, when engine is turned off and radio remains on, battery died 2 times. Mechanic found circuit 1133 shorted to steering column bracket, replaced wire. Problem reoccurred immediately. Returned to country chev-rechecked and replaced wiring. 4wd lights still flash. Unable to determine trouble.

No notification of any recalls or service bullitins, broken seat, lights, front suspension parts, would not honor warranty.

I got the vehicle from titusville chev, but they are out of business and bob fischer took over their business. I also contacted Chevrolet, the manufacturer. I also contacted my lease company. They refused to do anything to help. This is the only vehicle I have. I do not have money to rent a vehicle. Chevrolet told me to take my Blazer in to bob fischer and leave it until the headlights fail to come on in their service dept so they can trace it. Since this only occurs when it is cold and it doesn't get cold in florida very much yet, my truck could be there for weeks and I will not be able to get to work. I asked for a loaner vehicle. They said they cannot provide one. They also said that after they do discover the problem, they still may not fix it for free, but may repair it at a reduced price. This is very frustrating for me and very dangerous. Can you help me, please?.

The lighting of the headlights is poor, affects visibility, and may cause an accident. Dealer claims that the headlight meets fmvss. No remedy for the problem.

When a bump in the road is hit the interior lights and the headlights flicker on and off. Cause unknown. Please give any further details.

When automatic daylight running lights are on during heavy snow fall, visibility is extremely difficult, consumer can not disengage lights.

The design of the difuser does not provide adequate light on road surfaces causing poor visibility.

Floor vents under dashboard put out very hot air, when controls are set to off. Also, daytime running lights do not have an override switch, which would allow the driver to turn lights off.
