Turn Signal Problems of Chevrolet Blazer

I have a 2002 Chevrolet Blazer with brake lights and flashers that do not work. The center brake light and turn signals work ok. There is a recall for this same problem description but I was told that my VIN number is not covered by it. The problem I have and the recall problem are identical. Is there any way I can plead my case?.

The contact owns a 2001 Chevrolet Blazer. The contact stated that the rear brake lights and hazard lamps became completely inoperative. The center high-mounted stop lamp and turn signal functions were not affected. The dealer stated that his vehicle was not included in any recalls. The manufacturer advised him to call the dealer. No repairs have been performed on the vehicle. The current and failure mileages were approximately 118,000.

1) windshield wipers not working consistently if they work at all. Have had to stop driving during the rain or snow because of inability to see. 2) turn signal makes clicking sound even when not in use. Have paid to have the problems repaired to no avail. They both continue to malfunction.

Wipers are working rarely and directional sounds when directionals are off.

As reported in "odi id number : 758908" I also am having problems with dome light coming on for no reason, the noise for the turn signal would come on without the turn signal being on (my turn signals worked perfectly fine) and the handle you use to adjust the seat back broke off on passenger front seat.

Also, the latch on the inside on the vehicle which you pull to release the hood broke. Wondering if anyone else had problems with this vehicle.

Standard daytime running light were not installed because manufaturer felt they were too close to the turn signal which would confuse motorist which lights were being used. Nlm.

Directional signals in the vehicle are very quiet, consumer feels they should be louder.
