Driving down the highway route 9 in va and the car started stalling and the check engine light came on and the car died. When I went to restart it, when I pressed the gas it made a knocking sound. Had a mechanic look at it, and was told its the motor. Sheriff showed and because its only a 2 lane highway he had to push the car with his car to get it off the road and onto a side street because they couldnt wait for a tow truck. There was no place to pull off when it had started to act up.
