All the sensors seem to not be functioning correctly. Doesn't tell me the right measurements for the wheels, gas, over heating. Right front passenger door locks/unlocks when it wants. It chokes up when trying to accelerate. Theres a rattling noise that comes from under the car. First time I took it to the dealership, they stated it was a bolt that had come loose on the exhaust pipe. They placed a new one which lasted a year and a half and now its back to making the noise. I took it again to the dealership, this time they claimed they couldn't find anything. My airbag sensor keeps coming on constantly. My fuel sensor claims 116 miles one moments and 5 or 6 minutes later, it says I have 50 miles. My car was over heating and low on anti-freeze, the car never notified it was over heating.

I was involved in accident where a driver ran a red light traveling approximately 60-70mph and collided with the front of my 2021 chevy Colorado zr2 (22700 miles). The hood was torn off, the entire front end of the truck was crushed with significant damage to the engine. The onstar / sos system also failed to work after the crash. The truck was deemed a total loss. I have spinal injuries, head and neck injuries, as well as leg injuries due to my knees taking the brunt of the impact into the dash. The airbags did not deploy.

Insurance claims representative informed me that steering wheel air bag didn't deploy when I wrecked 2017 chevy Colorado. I suffered multiple injuries. Broken ribs, broken sternum, broken femur in 2 places, concussion, lung collapsed. No warnings no message. I'm gonna email the insurance company and ask them to report it to the chevy company and file a police report since they are in possession of our truck which they haven't settled yet 2 months. Truck was total loss. Insurance company has it at their facility in culpeper.
The drivers-side airbag indicator light remains on. The light warns that the airbag is not working. This is the third time it has happened, first at 89,000 miles, then at 111,000 miles, and now at 133,000 miles. Previous repairs were for broken wires in the wire harness to the extended cab rear door. Wiring in the harness for the airbag is related to the seat belt tensioner. This is a defect that was reported to NHTSA by several others, some of whom were injured in accidents. The repair is costly; the dealer charged around $400.

As I was driving in the icy weather Feb 2022 going down a slight incline approx speed 10-15 mph on the road the power steering went out and the traction control lights came on and air bag light went off and I lost steering control wound up in a 6 ft drop off of a culvert may have lost consciousness briefly as I didn’t know I was facing up and down and man living near the culvert came up to the truck asked if I was ok and said your not going anywhere your tires are off the ground and I did not realize I was air bags did not deploy as the airbag light malfunction came on prior so they did not deploy. I had to higher a crane operator to lift the truck out of the culvert and a wrecker to take it home.

Performed a full pre-repair scan health check with the gm gds2 scan tool. Fifty-three fault codes were reported through 11 modules via "automotive electronics is one of the major problems in this areas. Understanding the control buses that have replaced wiring looms in vehicles. Can bus is the most important of these – but many vehicles now use both can and lin buses for cost reasons. Solutions for both areas. At this time—recommendations and fault codes are listed below. At the time of scan national highway traffic safety administration website was unavailable, and a recall search was unable to be performed. Per gm adas calibration recommendations, if an adas feature is affected by the collision repair, gm may recommend calibration of affected components after repairs are complete. Please refer to gm document 5577683. These items may include frontview camera, long range radar, park assist sensor, curb view camera, surround vision camera – analog and night vision camera.
Passenger presence module faulty.
The wiring for the airbags runs through a hinge in the extended cab doors. I don’t use my rear doors much, but I would say that I use them a normal amount. Regular opening and closing of the door will cause the wires to break, thus making the airbags inoperable. Normal use of doors should not cause your airbags to not work.

I bought the vehicle for my son. On September 13, the power steering failed on a turn on a city street, and he was unable to control the vehicle and hit a parked car on the opposite side of the street. The insurance company paid for a portion of our vehicle expense, but not the entire note which included taxes, license, fees, extended warranty and interest.
For a while now, my truck has been aggressively shaking when I hit highway speeds so I've spent money getting balances and alignments and tires to try and fix the issue, but nothing works. I've also been having acceleration issues, but when I take it to a shop to be looked at, nobody can find the problem. Then a few days ago, I was on the highway doing around 65 or so in the rain and it did its usual shaking. I lost control, the truck spun out and hit the wall. The cop came and asked if my truck had been doing any shaking. I told him yes. . . I came home and my family asked if it had been shaking as well. I asked why everyone was mentioning the truck shaking. They told me about the chevy recalls. So I'm reaching out bc I've been trying to figure out and paying money to fix the shaking issues and the accelerator issues with no success and now I've been in a wreck and could've lost my life. I only hurt my foot and my girlfriend was cut and burned by airbags. I need help. Please.
On Friday, August 7th my husband pulled the truck into the driveway got out of the truck went into the garage and heard a loud popping sound. Came outside and the airbag had deployed while it was just sitting in the driveway. This is a safety issue because could have occurred while he inside the vehicle.

This incident cause to hit the car in front of me, it took me by surprise.

Front passenger airbag always showing it is "off" whether someone is sitting in seat or not. The dealer wouldn't fix this unless I paid a diagnostic fee of $185. Also radio infotainment system doesn't respond to touch, however it has a mind of its own, blaring radio volume up and changing channels on its own. Very distressing and distracting while driving. Also a $185 diagnostic for looking at this as well. I had purchased an extended warranty and extended maintenance agreement. The dealer told me they won't fix it unless I pay for the diagnostics and they won't have the extended warranty company fix it under my original extention warranty agreement. This all happened before my vehicle had 26000 miles.
The airbags were deactivated due to the wires being damaged through normal use of the extended cab rear door. A normal mechanic shop wouldn't fix it, because it was a safety issue, so took the truck to the Chevrolet dealer, who confirmed the problem, and had to replace the wiring harness in that door.

Chevrolet montebello delearship in California refused to do any work on our 2018 Chevrolet Colorado. We received a letter about a recall on the airbags of the truck and we took the truck in due to some issues on the truck and the recall. Because they felt the vehicle was tampered with they denied to do any work on the truck even the recall of the airbags!!!!! the service technician we were working with said they were not going to deal with us anymore bc I made a complaint to gm and I would need to deal with them directly they refused to provide me any documentation even after their service manager said they would. This is not acceptable for them to refuse to fix such a major safety concern and to be honest they are being neglectful and should be held accountable for being so unethical.
Side certain airbags deployed for no reason on mild off-road trail going about 20mph.
