About a year ago, I started getting a slight shudder in my transmission so I took it to the dealer for repair. They couldn't get it to shudder. Several times I'll be driving down the road at or around 45mph and the truck will start shuddering so bad I feel like I have to pull off the road. Every time I take it to the dealer for repair I end up losing my truck for a day and they tell me they can find anything wrong even though this is a known issue and there is a TSB out to fix the issue.

Transmission is shuddering when accelerating. This shuddering event began around 9,000 miles and has progressively worsened. Service bulletin 18-na-355 has been published but with mixed results. Requesting government agency continues to monitor this as the sudden lurching could potentially put drivers into a dangerous intersection or be unable to accelerate to avoid a hazard. This is a large safety concern and transmissions are expensive to fix/maintain and the cost should be absorbed by the manufacturer as reports of this issue grow and become more widespread.

Transmission shudders and vibrates. Happens usually around 55-60 mph, after the fluid reaches about 80 degrees. Hard shifting also from first to second gear. Gm is aware of this problem yet chooses to do nothing about it. Truck is out of warranty(40k) so they want $400 to flush transmission. It's a shame that gm won't stand behind their products. When will they be held accountable?.

Transmission shudders when going do the road. Happens at both lower speeds and at higher speeds in town and on the interstate. Hard shifting as well when vehicle is not up to operating temperature.
Transmission shudder. Seems common after 40,000 miles on the majority of 2017-19 Colorados. Truck would vibrate like driving over a rumble strip around 55+ mph after transmission fluid would warm up above 80 degrees f. Should be a recall because I had to go through hoops to get them to even look at the transmission because they thought it was a tire or wheel weight. Super inconvenient and time consuming.
The truck's drivetrain/transmission constantly shakes, shutters while driving. It happens periodically throughout the rpm ranges.
The transmission in my truck shakes, shimmies, vibrates, shutters when driving and shakes, shimmies vibrates even at idle. I took the truck to the dealership and they removed all of the transmission fluid and replaced with new fluid as per Chevrolet corporate mandate. The truck remains in shaking, shimmies, shutters and vibrating.
Transmission shudder.
Transmission shudders when accelerating and decelerating. I bought this truck new 1 month ago!!!!.
Eight speed transmission shutters and vibrates under normal acceleration. More noticeable on hills or under light load. Chevy dealers answer: they all do it!! after extensive online searcher, I found this problem has been ongoing for 3 to 4 years with numerous complaints and dissatisfied owners! they fail to tell you this when your buying vehicle. Chevy has a technical service bulletin # 16na175 on problem, but will not resolve problem. Of all the vehicles I've owned over the years, I have never had a driveability problem this serious.
Purchased new chevy Colorado 4x4 extended cab with 3. 6-liter v6, transmission 8-speed model 8l45. Transmission developed shudder during light throttle acceleration between 30 and 70 mph. Shudder is cyclic lasting 4 - 12 seconds, reaccurring 45 - 90 seconds. Shudder feels similiar to driving over mild rumble strips or rough pavement. First notice transmission problem around 1200 mile mark, total mileage on vehice as of April 11, 2019 is 2750 miles. More information can be found with ge service information (si) as a techinical service bulletin (TSB). Refer to these gm TSB's 16-na-175, 18-na-177, and 18-na-355.
Experience transmission shudder while driving vehicle. Could cause issue while passing other vehicles due to loss of power. The amount of money these newer vehicles are charging, transmission shifting should be flawless. Not sure if this is going to get worse and cause an accident. Could it jump gears while trying to come to a stop? this is ongoing and needs to be addressed and a remedy by the manufacturer soon.
Transmission shuddering. - identified variable speed occurrence could happen at 25 or 65. Unrelated to tires/steering or to shock cavitation or rough roads. Happens on smooth or rough roads. Vehicle has not been off-road. Varied inconsistency. More apparent when engine is cold shifting from 1st to 2nd to 3rd then will dissipate. Shifts hard 1st to 2nd and sometimes 3rd when engine is cold. Once warm shifting is smoother but shuddering still occurs.
Transmission shudder. Fells like driving over rumble strips. Gm knows of this issue but keeps putting these 8 speed transmissions on the road.
The vehicle has a shudder in the transmission under light throttle acceleration between about 50 and 80 mph on the highway. It feels as if I'm driving over rumble strips on the road for about a second. Then it will stop for a second or two, and then shake again for a second. Without throttle, no shaking occurs. This has been occurring for about two weeks, or perhaps the last 500 miles. It might be described by bulletin 18-na-177.
Manual transmission has grinding noise when shifting into 1st, 2nd, or 3rd gears.
