Vehicle Shudder Problems of Chevrolet Colorado

Vehicle is experiencing a shake and/or shudder during light throttle acceleration between 25 and 80 mph in a steady state of driving when the transmission is not actively shifting gears. The vehicle shudders as if I am driving on rumble strips. TSB 18-na-355 shows same issue with 2017-2019 Colorados, but should probably include 2020 models as the condition is identical to what my vehicle is experiencing.

When traveling forward,or turning, at highway speeds between 20 mph and 40 mph, this vehicle shudders ( 6 speed transmission)and acceleration pauses until a lot of extra effort is placed on the gas pedal. The transmission then downshifts with a sudden lurch. This leads to a safety hazard when instant acceleration is needed. This happens everyday at any time of the day and whether hot or cold.

Vehicle shudders does not downshift smoothly jerks when backing up at times, vehicle jumps when trying to shift to a lower gear. Brought to dealership, couldn't get the problem to occur, so nothing they can do and don't care to, vehicle has 36,000 miles.

Transmission is stuttering randomly every minute or so, it vibrates the car and feels like I'm running over rumble strips.

Tl the contact owns a 2018 Chevrolet Colorado. While driving 45 mph, the vehicle began to shake forcefully. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to hertrich Chevrolet Cadillac of salisbury (located at 2531 n salisbury blvd, salisbury, MD 21801, (410) 713-4640) and was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 12,500.

The pass lock system will not let the truck start has left me stranded many times. Heater blower motor stopped working on 1, 2, & 3 settings. Blower motor resistor and plug were burnt, started a minor fire could have been worse. When I turn the vehicle to the right makes a large vibration and the vehicle shuts down can't get it to turn back on.

Vehicle shutters between the speed of 15mph to 35mph shaking vehicle very bad. Leaking back sliding glass, no sealant around glass dealer had to replace back window new mounding and sealant. Carpet in back is soaked with possibility of mold. Dealer did not make any effort to clean carpet or headliner when rear window was repaired. The headliner had a bad stain and was superficially cleaned, leaving possibility of mold in the future. The carpet and floor mats were not cleaned leaving possibility of mold in the future. Poor service in this area.

Truck shakes at speeds above 55 mph. At 65 mph my phone will fly off the magnet mount on the windshield; water and ice shake as if boiling at 70 mph and above. Sometimes the vehicle feels like it is coming apart it shakes so hard. When the vehicle was two months old it stopped on a city street in arlington va and was undriveable. After a timeout period of 10-15 minutes it was driveable but at 10 mph it whined as if the transmission or engine was going to blow up. At 20-25 mph it was a screaming demon and had to be towed to the dealership (browns) who found no record in car computer system of fault. Battery or electrical system was completely dead on 7 June 2019 with about 10,200 miles. Dealership knew I had appointment and I asked for tow but they don't provide a tow from reed-lallier. Onstar was of little help so I called my usaa insurance roadside assistance to get truck jump started; I missed appointment and they canceled appointment that morning which was to check for shaking and also 2nd oil change. I am a retired paratrooper with verifiable severe nerve damage to my back and lower legs and this vehicle causes serious physical and neurological problems when driving highway speeds.

Vehicle shudders/shakes when accelerating or maintaining speed. Can be light shudder, like driving over a bumpy road. Or can be enough to make everything sitting in dash to shake violently.

The vehicle was taken to bell Chevrolet inc (304-652-3541, located at 600 chelsea st, sistersville, wv 26175) where it was diagnosed that the transmission needed to be flushed. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 25,000.

I have a 2018 Chevrolet Colorado lt 4wd crew cab. Multiple times on a cold start the engine is misfiring. The check engine like comes on, the vsa, and t/c lights all come on and a notification on the dash saying stabilitrak is disabled. The vehicle shakes terribly. The check engine light will flash and then go solid. I am an automotive technician. I know that a misfire should set a hard dtc. When the vehicle is turned off and started several hours later there is no check engine light or any other light on. The dealership in marysville, OH had my truck for 3 days and told me they cleaned a bunch of terminals at several connectors. Whatever that is supposed to do. They said they started the vehicle several times after and everything was good. The next day after I picked the truck up, it did the same exact thing! extremely frustrating! I know a continuous misfire let's unburned fuel into the catalytic converter which leads to premature breakdown of the catalyst. So my question is what is being done about these issues? another issue is with the transmission. On a cold start there is a clunk noise. Then when you are driving at cruising speed and you let off the throttle and depress throttle again there is a shudder. Also, when you come to a complete stop the vehicle tries to jolt forward. This is extremely concerning especially on a vehicle with roughly 18,000 miles on it. This needs to be addressed promptly!!.
