1 Electrical Failure problem of the 2002 Chevrolet Corvette

Failure Date: 01/09/2012

The blinkers stop working sometimes while driving. The abs lights comes on stability control. Headlights turn off and on while automatic twilight is on. The electrical system seems to have problems. The brakes, blinkers and gauges malfunction. I've looked on the internet and it seems a lot of Corvette owners from model year 1997-2004 are experiencing the same prolems. The alarm system also fails. I find this to be dangerous problem while driving when the electrical system fails to operate.

He was told that there was recall 04v060000 on this type of vehicle. But the recall did not include his vehicle. The dealership told him that after doing the diagnostic test it was evident that it had nothing to do with driver's error. It may have been an electrical failure. The recall stated that it could lock up while driving. The dealership told him now that this vehicle was no longer under warranty. The contact will have to pay for the repairs to be done.
