Veh purchased 9/2015 and so far I have replace four rear rims and one front. All have hair line cracks on the inside of rim causing radical air loss, vibration and tire wear. Navigation screen flickers and goes on and off at least two times a week and I have to open and close to restart screen. Blower motor went out at 37k miles and the transmission is bucking, vibrating, shuddering and going into 5th gear at 31mph and feels like it is hanging up in 5th gear the clunks down to first at 10mph. Went to dealer, they claimed they did a software up date and things are fine. Left the dealership and came back 5 min later with same issue. Took service manager for a ride and he confirmed the horrible ride. Have to take back on Tuesday 5/28 and it feels like the drive shaft or rear end will fall out. They said it was fine. I hope nothing happens to me or the car.

The vehicle dic display goes blank periodicly. The anlalog gages work at all times. When the display is blank, and while driving, the analogs will go full scale and all warning lights will illuminate for a few seconds. Then the analog gages return to normal operation. While driving for a period of about 30 minutes or more, the display becomes operative, and all steering wheel commands function. The display and gages operate normaly for days. Then after sitting in the garage when I open the left door, days later, the display does not come on. And repeats the cycle. I have informed gm and have an open case. However, they have no immediate solution and I was told that there are no replacement instrument clusters available at this time. I was also told that there are a number of owners across the country that are experiencing similar issues with their dic's. A gm rep at the action center stated that all owners with this problem are waiting for replacement parts. They could give no expectation as to when the parts will be available. Gm knows there is a problem with the 2014 Corvette instrument clusters. . I am now on a list of owners waiting for the word on when the clusters will become available. My car is not even 3 yrs old and gm doesn't have the part to fix it anywhere in the gm system? mileage 813. 0 I thought the vehicle needed a software update. I brought it to the local chevy dealer and they told me they attempted to update the software 3 x and each time it failed. They stated that they did not know what the problem was and could not fix the problem. When they returned my car, all gages and displays were inoperative, including the infotainment system. I had an independant tech reprogram the system, and all returned to normal. However, the dic display is still intermittent. The display goes out only while it is sitting with power off. Does not go out when driving.

Same as complaint #'s 757075 & 10124963 "active handling system malfunction". While moving at speed (approx 75 mph) in a straight line on even pavement, the active handling system activates the left side brakes hard for about two seconds. This causes momentary loss of control of the vehicle. In my case the vehicle departed the right lane and forced me across the left lane onto the shoulder. No codes. Additional detail: I originally took the vehicle in for service because I was getting a fault in the ahs, "service active handling". The ahs would automatically disable itself at the time of the code warning. This happened once per driving cycle while moving at speed (exactly the same as above, only it didn't try to wreck the car). The dealer referenced a gm service bulletin and said the software for the ahs needed to be upgraded. After the upgrade, under the same circumstances it now activates the ahs and causes the vehicle to veer wildly. The dealer can find nothing wrong. This is a big safety issue. The ahs should not be able to cause loss of control.
