2 Transmission Slip Out Of Gear problem of the 2007 Chevrolet Corvette

Failure Date: 01/05/2016

The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Corvette. While the vehicle was parked, the gear shifter failed to shift out of gear. Tl- the contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet Corvette. The contact stated that while coming to a stop, the gear shifter was not able to shift out of the drive position. The contact mentioned that the brakes were applied to stop the vehicles movement before attempting to shift the gear shifter. The contact mentioned that the gear shifter became loose after changing its position to park. The vehicle was towed to the dealer for diagnostic testing where it was confirmed that the gear shift cable was fractured and needed to be replace. The vehicle was repaired. 4 Transmission Slip Out Of Gear problem of the 2003 Chevrolet Corvette

Failure Date: 06/15/2004

The contact owns a 2003 Chevrolet Corvette. The contact stated that while in first gear, he applied the accelerator pedal and the vehicle immediately jumped out of gear. The failure recurred multiple times. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where the bushings were replaced in the transmission but the failure recurred.
