Engine recall! the engine often makes sound that is different than normal. Over 100,000 miles, the problem starts! when not in motion, although the engine is on, the vehicle engine stops even in waiting at the traffic light stop.
Dangerous to drive this car 2012 chevy cruz. My cc 12 decided to jerk, shake, all panels starting flashing, shake, make noise and increase speed and then suddenly brakes kick in and it stopped in the middle lane of i95. Becus powertran is over by 1 year, Chevrolet wont do anything about it. They said to take to official chevy dealership. Which now incurred a cost of 370 with discount. Their rep told me a each time I call tha the powertrain is over however considering the trouble with the vehicle, you are on the perimeters of this. We get the diagnotics and work with you possible picking up some if not all of the cost. No such thing, instead their senior advisor advised me I am shit out of luck on a 6 yrs old car with approx. 79 thousand miles. That's their response. Out of car now 11 days, handed a bill for 370. 00 to tell me the same thing my mechanic told me.

The strange noise appeared when we were driving to home from carson to vancouver, wa. After diagnose at alan web (3712 ne 66 Ave vancouver, wa 98661) car stays at my app. Parking lot. Thanks.
When the speed of the car starts to reach 50 miles a high pitch sound occurs. I cannot determined if it is related to when air conditioner is turned on. The noise will diminish when speed is lowered to about 45 miles. I cannot recall if this happens in the colder months but it does seem to happen in the summer.
1g1gp5sc1c7184724 VIN my car was taken to dealership because it started making a sound like the motor was ticking and had been overfilled with oil about 6 months before by the dealership. The serviceman waited until next day to drive the car. While being test drove by the service man it caught on fire and burned the whole motor and outside of the car up. All plastic was completely burned. My insurance man who went to look at the car said he could not tell if the plastic shield on the bottom had oil on it or not but they could further investigate and would be able to find out. Now I had insurance full coverage on the car and I bought gap from the dealership when I purchased the car. I am paying a 6. 25 interest rate on the car which came to 22,740. 00 plus 3,000. 00 down when purchased and been paying for 1 year. Payed for extended warranty and gap. I have waited over a month for gm to investigate this and of today's date the dealership says they have not come to do their job. I am 64 years old and never dreamed that a large dealership could or would do someone like they have done me. There was very large recall on 2012 cars and I don't know if mine was ever fixed because I didn't know about the recall until this happened. I just want my money back for the down payment so I can buy another car and for my car to be paid off by the dealership because they are the ones who over filled the car in the first place. The dealership should be responsible for the car it was in there place there service men was driving it when it caught on fire.
I purchased a 2012 chevy Cruze 2lt w/rs package on 9/19/12. I didn't notice right away but after I drove for a few days I notice the engine would have this loud vibration when I barely accelerate, like staying at a steady speed. If I accelerate from a stopped position it doesn't do it or I just don't hear it because I hear the turbo. After driving it a few weeks the vibration sound has gotten worse, so I took it to the dealership to be checked. They test drove it and told me this is the way the echotech w/turbo motors sound and nothing was wrong with it. I wasn't satisfied so I asked I could test drive another car just like mine on their lot. They graciously let me and it sounded the same. My sons girlfriend has the exact same car and hers sounds nothing like mine. She bought hers at a different dealership which means it was probably came from a different manufacturer. Something isn't right and this should be fixed. This does not sound like a new car. It's very embarrassing. My 1995 chevy cavalier is not as loud as my new car. Another thing is when I slow down to pull in my driveway (on a hill) I just let off the gas and the car will jerk really hard. This doesn't happen all the time but this will be an issue I'm sure when the warranty is up. I'm very disappointed with my first new car purchase. I waited 42 years for this.
