When vehicle is sitting in auto-stop mode, releasing the brake and pressing the gas pedal will randomly cause vehicle to stall. I have taken it to different Chevrolet dealerships and no one can figure out the cause of it and they cannot replicate the issue. (the mechanics are not driving the vehicle long enough for it to happen. ) this happens more often during summer months, but has happened over the 2020 winter. I have to put the vehicle in park, turn it off and back on to get the car moving. This is especially dangerous if I am trying to turn in front of oncoming traffic.

Vehicle has stalled 4 times now in the past week or so. It has passed inspections at firestone and the oil change shop and there are no areas with suggested maintenance or repairs. The vehicle stalls after being in park or having my foot on the brake and not moving, and then attempting to accelerate/move again. All 4 times I have been on a level street or parking lot, with the wheels straight, after the engine had been running for several minutes up to an hour. I have to put it in park, turn off the vehicle, and then restart the engine again to continue driving.
The engine was acting up. It felt like it wasn't getting the gas to shift gears. It felt like it was going to stall out. Took it to the shop and they replaced the knock sensor and did a tune up. The issue continued so we had to take it back again. We was told the piston melted and put a hole in the block. We bought it brand new, have taken it for all repairs and oil changes, the car has less than 90,000 miles. We are being told these cars have these issues and to join in a lawsuit because the motor needs replaced.

Cat was sputtering and stalling after I had the oil changed and air filters checked. I got it diagnosed and the codes given were p1101 p0299 p0171 p0106 I was coming to a stop at the light when I noticed some squealing or whirring under the hood. I opened the hood and the engine is like . . . Moving.
Vehicle stalls sometimes at lights and stop signs. Only happens after we've been driving for 30+ miles or more. It doesn't matter if it's highway or city. When it stalls, no dash lights come on, it doesn't idle improperly and there is no warning that the vehicle is going to stall. When I take my foot from the brake at idle and apply it to the gas to move through a green light or stop sign after stopping is when it stalls. I have replaced the valve cover and intake (two weeks ago) and the problem is still occurring. Idle does get a little worse with air conditioning on. I've put $2000. 00 into this car this year for this same problem. I've visited three different mechanics. Nobody can figure out why this is happening. It's been happening unpredictably since we purchased the car in 2016.

The car does a lot of stalling when you're driving it. Also the engin light will come on and stay on maybe a day, then go off. Just on and off anytime. Automobile losses power when this happens. .

When trying to accelerate instead of the car speeding up it will stall or slow down. My car had stopped on me in the middle of traffic before while driving. I had to turn my car off and try to restart which it struggled to restart but after trying a few times it started. The dealership stated it was an issue with the fuel injector. This has happened on a city street and also when turning or entering the highway.
Tl the contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze. While stopped at a red light, the vehicle stalled and "stabilizer", "traction control", and a wrench icon illuminated on the instrument panel. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 35,600.
Car stalls at intersections. The auto stop feature goes from "auto stop" on the dash to "off". Problem occurs as you are moving foot over from brake to gas and causes the car to turn off. Have to put car in park and completely restart the engine by turning the car off and then back on. Typically happens when in an intersection/at a stop sign and have to come to a complete stop. Has happened before in many settings- city stop light, city stop sign, highway traffic, highway stop sign, etc. Super unsafe because car is unable to move and shut off in the middle of the road for about 10 seconds. Happens at least 1 time a day. Many other Chevrolet Cruze users have been posting in forums that it has happened to them as well. Could cause accidents. Makes the driver feel unsafe and uneasy every time they get in the car to drive because there is a fear that it will stall out/break down at every intersection or stop that is made throughout the drive.
Tl the contact owns a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze. While driving 70 mph, the vehicle unintentionally decelerated. When the failure occurred, the vehicle took time to accelerate and the check engine indicator illuminated. Also, while the vehicle was at a stop light, it violently vibrated and stalled, but was able to restart. The vehicle was taken to feldman Chevrolet of lansing (2801 e michigan Ave, lansing, mi 48912, (517) 507-4948) where the contact was informed that the turbo in the engine needed to be replaced. The contact mentioned that the part was previously repaired. The vehicle was not repaired again. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 150,000.
The engine light turned on at 67,000 miles, strong jerking action while accelerating. At first it was diagnosised as having a bad sensor, but I've taken it in for repairs now 6 times and I've heard about 4 different things, everything from "no issues", "bad knock sensor", "ems system issue", "carbon build-up on the pistons", "metal shavings in the oil" - it's obvious that no one knows what's wrong with it but it often feels like the car is about to stall in the middle of the interstate. All proper service/maintenance has been performed on the car.

Car stalled while making a left turn in traffic- a very dangerous situation.
We will be driving and all of a sudden the car stalls out. It has been doing this for 6 months but recently it has gotten a lot more frequent and I had my battery tested and it's not that. Also, my windshield wipers work but they are stuck in the upright position. I took it to a dealer ship and they said it was the motor and it was over 300. 00 to fix it.
I have purchased this vehicle used in July of 2015 from the Chevrolet schumacher dealership located in north palm beach, florida I currently have 61,939mi. My last oil change was in 12/2016 and is due at 64,000mi. To date I have had numerouse issues with this vehicle from installing new spark plugs, brakes that sound like an amtrak train, and now my engine light comes on and my bumper-to-bumper warranty is already expired at like 33,000mi. So now I fall under the power train warranty which covers your engine and transmission. However I am not sure what is causing my engine light to come on, I really dont want to pay $160. 00 for a diagnostic test and then have to pay on top of that $800 for an issue with my engine. I shouldn't be having these problems especially since it will mark my 2 year anniversary having this vehicle in July 2017. I am very displeased right now and would like this issue to be investigated and that someone from this government agency contact the dealer located in north palm beach so they can find out what exactly is wrong with my car. Something like this should happen to cars that are 5 years old not 1 1/2 years old.

When I am driving down the high way or if I am going up the hill my vehicle feels like it is going to stall so I have to pull over to the side of the road. It also was a salvage title and I had no idea when I bought it I found out it was a salvage vehicle after I took it to the dealership to fix my recall in which they claim they fixed my recall but I took it to another mechanic and they told me the recall was not fixed. The recall was a transmission control module. Also when I bought the car I took it back three times and they said since I paid cash for it there was nothing they could do I feel like this was a lemon.
The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze. The contact stated that the vehicle stalled while driving. The vehicle was taken to the dealer several times for the failure. I have noticed that the acceleration takes alot to go from 0-30 mph and when it does the car feels as though it will stall. There is a half tank of gas, and no indication it should be doing this. Oil is changed regularly. This has happened a few times before this incident of today. The gas pedal needs to be almost to the floor for it to even pick up and when it does accelerate it jumps between the gears and the rpm goes beyond 4-5 to get it to even 20mph. I did have an incident when the car stalled as I was in reverse. That happened at around 30-35k miles. I decided to google the acceleration issue and see I am not the only one. My car itself has had 3 recalls fixed.
