2012 Chevrolet Cruze. Consumer writes in regards safety recall the consumer stated his wife saw a news report, where 30 vehicles had problems with oil in the bellypan. There was sufficient danger to initiate a recall. When the consumer went to have the oil change at the dealer, he brought up the recall. However, the dealer claimed to know nothing about it . The dealer then checked online and received a diagram as to how to fix the problem. The oil changed revealed and excessive amount of oil in the bellypan. The consumer also stated it was difficult to change a flat tire, due to the poorly designed jack.

The contact owns a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze. The contact stated that the front driver side tire blew and detached from the rim while driving 70 mph. The vehicle did not come equipped with a jack or a spare tire. The contact stated that there was a compressor in the trunk, but it did not work for a blown tire. The failure mileage was 11,100.
