Since I bought this vehicle every now and again after I get gas the check engine light comes on I know that I tighten the cap as it says in the owners manual and replacing gas cap.

I noticed that my vehicle seemed to be having issues when I pressed on the brake, so I took it in. I found out that it was a completely unrelated issue, and had to do with a crack running through the manifold. This was causing oil and coolant to leak onto the alternator. If I had not caught this early enough, they said I would have not been able to get it fixed. They repaired the leak, but a couple weeks later I noticed my car losing significant amounts of coolant/oil. This is causing oil and coolant to affect the turbo setting of my manual car, and has cost me up to $2,000 in repairs. This has been the underlying problem as to why I had to get my flywheel replaced 2 years ago, which was another $1,500. This is also what caused the transmission failure 3 years ago, another thousand dollars. I noted that the vehicle began leaking fluid after being stationary or moving while/after running for 10 minutes or longer.

This is a diesel cruz. Of no fault of my own, the car must be taken to the dealer to have a manual regeneration of the exhaust particulate filter performed with 16k miles on the car.

I have a 2012 chevy Cruze 6 speed manual transmission. When driving and barley accelerating in 3rd gear it grinds and pops out of gear. Only 3rd gear no other issues!.

Purchased new cruse hatchback in Dec. 2017, with 3 miles on odometer from (xxxxx) westlake,OH. Problems started in February, just stopped car,I was still in it and alarm went off, then ,onstar sent me a notification my car has been stolen, car did not recognize remote with on screen message. Called dealer service advisor stated I must have electronic item in cup holder confusing the car, I only have a smartphone that stays in the drivers door or in my pocket, I kept hitting the start button& remote and eventually the alarm stopped and it was back to normal reconizing remote. In March 2018,while on freeway going 60mph all lights on dashboard lit up and speed went by itself to 30mph from highway speed of 60mph, I pulled to side of highway, kept hitting on off dash switch and eventually restarted and was ok, called dealer right then I was told the car went into safety mode,why I asked and service advisor stated all new vehicles have computer problems,I asked if they can look at it and I was told there is nothing they can do for me concerning my computer problems. In April arriving home from work,my car was stopped a message stated no remote in car, wouldn't let me unlock any doors ,no manual unlock only electric switches on car so I was trapped in car, when I call the dealer, a advisor told me after my warranty is up that's how the dealer makes money fixing electrical&computer problems, I've leased 2 cars from this dealership previous to purchasing this $28,000 cruse, I believe I have a lemon, I almost lost my city bus driving job,by car malfunctions not fixable to my 1st new car purchase since 2000,if there is a recall on this please someone fix it, I love this car but my hopes are dwindling on Chevrolet cruse (8) times I've I had major problems with this car. Consumer complaint. Noxious odor from heater. Causes nasal discomfort and coughing forcing manual shutdown of heater. Heater is outgassing a cloyingly sweet smell that is widely discussed in internet forums with no solution.

Chevy Cruze 1. 8 liter manual transmission. 2013. Had recall for high temp for catalytic converter. Manufacturer reset computer as recall required. Now, the catalytic converter has stopped working. Engine light on.

Our chevy Cruze 2014 ltz has a push ignition button to turn the vehicle on. I dropped my husband off at work and drove to a shop 20 miles away. When I turned off the vehicle, the warning message displayed no key transmitter (this was the only time this message became present). I realized my husband had the keys in his pocket. I could no longer turn on the car or do anything with it besides lock it. I had to crawl through the back seat, to use the trunk safety latch (since no manual trunk release!) and get my stroller out for my baby. The car will signal if passengers seat belt is off when the vehicle is running, but it seems very strange the car drove the 20 miles without a key and no warning there was no key in the vehicles premises. This really could have been a huge safety issue had I stopped in an emergency lane and been stranded. The car must either cut the engine off immediately once the key leaves a certain foot distance or like the seatbelt warnings that are both 'auditory and visual' needs to be corrected to this same specifications. It may seem like a minor thing, but we are a military family stationed overseas, and being stranded abroad on unknown roads was a huge disaster this week especially with a baby on board the vehicle. Please I beg you to have the Chevrolet/gm motors make an immediate change and or recall to this issues.

Ignition switch sticking have to manually turn it the key or it stay on tiring to start.

Vehicle failed to accelerate off of the on ramp onto the highway. The engine could be heard revving up, but did not increase in speed. When exiting the highway, I pull off to the side of the road, shifted the vehicle into park, then back into drive and the vehicle would not go forward. Even in manual mode the car would not shift into a forward moving driver.
