The car electrical goes haywire. All these alerts and pop up come on abs lights. Stabillatrac. No power steering. Looked up issue it has something with a bad sensor in bumper. Very dangerous.
When turning the steering wheel all the way to the left and accelerating the abs activates and the abs light momentarily comes on. I jacked up the front of the car to investigate and found that I could create the error by jiggling the wire to the abs sending unit. Google the error and notice dozens of others with the same issue.

My steering control light came on with no steering control, abs system light came on, and stabilitrac light is on!.
When I turn left, the abs light/ traction light comes on and it says service traction control, service stabilitrak, service brake assist and it makes a grinding noise. The dealership replaced my wheel bearings and it's still the same problem.
Clunking , grinding noise service stabilitrak, service abs lights come on lose power when reversing or making a left turn. After much research there seems to be a problem with the wiring harness going to the sensors in the wheels. Msny people are having this very same problem across many years of this vehicle. People are spending money unesacerally on parts such as wheel hubs and bearings without fixing said problem. Many people are also reporting cars turning off as a result of this.

The traction control light and the abs light came on at the same time and its saying service tractioncontrol system/service stabilatrak system and also service assited brake control system I did some research and I found out this is a common problem with these cars and should be addressed by gm to be fixed at their cost not mine.

I have a traction control light on, also the abs light is on, and I get a stabilitrack warning.
Whenever I turn the steering wheel to the left, the stabilitrack and abs dashboard lights come on and the read-out panel says both systems need service and these lights stay on and the systems shut-off making the vehicle less safe. I should point out that the lights come on when the pavement is drive and its warm out. Why is this happening to the relatively new car with barely 50,000 miles. The car is designed to be driven with the stabilitrack and abs systems working properly. I've looking into this on-line and it appears many people with Impala's are experiencing the same issue. People have paid to have paid to have the wheel bearing assemblies replace, brakes replace, sensors replaces, only to have the "service" light come back on soon after the service has been completed. From my reading, it appears gm needs to issue a recall to fix this issue. Thank you.
Takata recall I keep having the abs light along with traction control light turn on every other day and in mornings it disappears as I drive. Car has 60129 miles on it and I have read on Impala forums it is common but no recalls issued yet.
We I purchased the car they had changed the wheel bearings and since then I have had to take it back and have it serviced for the same thing several times. I changed out the hub assembly for the same problem and now just like before the traction control light is on and the abs light. I don't know what else to do. I turned into our local walmart and the car just stopped and would not go.
Stable control and abs light comes in when I star on wet payment I hear notice and slight vibration, but light goes off and on at various times, noy log enough for dealer to check it out.

I was driving and I pressed on the brakes the cars starts jerking and it felt and sounded like it was dragging something or scrapping the ground. The abs light comes on and the stability light pops on. I'm out in the middle of the road doing a left or a right turn when this occurs and the car basically stalls for a minute and won't move then all of a sudden jerks really hard and starts moving again. This occurs on the city street and the highway when exiting or changing lanes.
Hi I purchased my Impala last year used and for about the first 6 months it ran fine. . . Now electrical panel goes on the fritz dimming my lights and dashboard. . . Power windows and mirrors not working. . . Also abs light and traction lights on consistently. . . Traction randomly activates and car lighters just stopped working. Something is wrong with this specific model and it really needs to be recalled. Also turn key to start car and the car doesn't start so I do this 2-3 times to start car up. . . Really needs to recall all 2005 Impalas.

Was traveling along and I think I had just completed a left hand turn when the car dinged. I looked at the dash and three messages popped up, "service stabilitrak", "service brake assist", "service traction control" and the abs light comes on and the traction off light shows up. Happens quite frequently have had it fixed at least once on this vehicle and also on my 2012 Impala before it was totaled.
After backing out of my driveway, the warning lights stating service stabilitrak, brake assist & traction control. Also, abs light stays on and when initiating brakes, brake pedal vibrates and makes a vibrating noise. While I was driving to my appt, the message kept flashing over and over. Same problem 6/15/18 & had front hub & bearing assembly replaced. Ok until 8/22/18.
Tl- the contact owns a 2013 Chevrolet Impala. The contact stated that while driving at 40 mph, and depressing the brake pedal, the vehicle failed to stop. The traction control, abs warning light illuminated. The contact stated that he had to apply excessive force to stop the vehicle. The contact was able to continue driving at a low speed to his residence. The contact called alamo city Chevrolet dealer at (210) 987-2134, located at 9400 san pedro Ave, san antonio, TX 78216, and was informed that the vehicle included in a recall with NHTSA campaign number:14v355000 (electrical system). I was driving on the interstate at approx 70 mph when the power steering quit working. Two warning messages came on stating that the "power steering needed to be serviced", the "stabilitrack needed to be serviced" and the abs warning light came on. The car became difficult to steer. I had my son and a neighbor's child in the car with me. It was not a safe condition.
When I first purchase my car from a used car dealer which is Smart auto dealer, 2 weeks later my vehicle will start to have issues while my vehicle is in motion on the service streets. Whenever I am making a left turn my alert alarm will light up on dash stating service brake assist , service stabilitrak , service traction control and abs light, this will go on & off, but now it stays on constantly. While turning left, there will be a grinding noise, car tends to reduce its power, like its hard for me to take off and my vehicle will kick so hard, like something is locking. Also another issue is while parked on a slanted carport, my vehicle will not go into reverse gear. I feel like my vehicle is going to break because, I have to force it to get into reverse gear, that the vehicle will make the loudest noise, like my axle is going to break on me. According to the dealers service department its not showing up on there diagnostic as any issues. Can someone please tell me if there is a recall on my vehicle? there was a known recall, but my VIN# is not showing up. Dealers are trying to cheat me.
Turned on my car started pushing on the gas my car made a weird vibration type sound. Came up on message board traction control after a couple times of it doing that, the abs and tax light come on and on the message window it says system traction service. It kinda freaked me out cause I was stopped at a red light went to go hit the gas and it said traction control and I moved a little than I had to let go of gas then try again. Also have had a couple incidents where I go to break and it makes a vibration feeling on the brake and brings up traction control again. Really would like this checked out very concerned. Don't want to get in an accident cause my car fails to take off.

Electronic stability control/ brake assist and abs light comes on at random times. Took to dealer and say nothing wrong with it had wheel bearing replaced and problem is back. Happens while in reverse.
The contact owns a 2010 Chevrolet Impala. When the contact placed the vehicle in reverse, the abs and service traction warning indicators illuminated. The contact stated that another unknown warning indicator also illuminated. The contact took the vehicle to a certified mechanic who diagnosed that the passenger side wheel bearing failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred whenever the vehicle was started or while attempting to make left or right turns. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failures and opened case number: 8-2855204461. The approximate failure mileage was 74,000.
At 47,000miles the abs warning light came on. I went ahead and replaced the hub wheel. The light went off for about a week. The stabilitytrack warning came on. It goes off. But then when I make a left turn the light comes back on again. I have spent countless hours researching trying to find a solution to no avail. They should issue a recall for this chevy model.
My vehicle is having the abs kick on in uneccessary conditions. Then the vehicles traction control will turn off and the abs light comes on and both stay on until I turn the vehicle off. From research this seems to be a problem with this line of vehicle, both a costly fix and a common problem. Please help me address this issue.

Received "service traction control, service stabilitrak, service brake assist" warnings all at the same time. Car makes a loud noise when reversing and turning to the right or left at low speeds. Occasionally while braking, the car skids. Abs light also came on.
Recently, I have been having trouble with my 2005 Impala and the abs/traction system. At the beginning, the "abs, traction off and service traction system" lights would come on. The abs and traction lights would stay on and the service traction was intermittent. The car also makes a loud "dinging" sound when the lights come on. When I would make a turn, the car would also make a grinding sound and the service traction light would come back on. Eventually, the traction began kicking in when it was not suppose to and the car would not stop properly. This of course was a serious safety issue. I have researched this problem and found complaints upon complaints about this same problem. I contacted gm and they told me they never heard of this problem which I find hard to believe. I have spent an enormous amount of time and money trying to fix this problem. My local dealership wanted almost $4,000 for repairs. I then took the car to a very reputable repair shop and they, like two other shops I checked with, told me they have seen this numerous times in these cars. They attempted to fix the problem but the problem still exists. I spent $2,000 having the wheel hubs, abs harnesses and brake pressure modulator valve replaced. The lights, although intermittent, are still coming on! sometimes it is when I turn the car on, back up or even just driving down the road. This car only has 77,000 miles on it and I feel I should not be having this problem. I have had to take it back twice and they are still attempting to find the source of the problem. This is the only major problem I have had with this car. Any assistance you could give me would be appreciated.
My 2013 chevy Impala is having big issues making left turns. There is a grinding sound and the car hesitates to accelerate. While these problrms occur I am getting warnings on the dash that say service traction control, service brake assist, and the abs light is on. Starting to not feel safe to be in this vehicle. Also had it checked twice by two different auto shops and they cant seem to find the problem.
When backing out and turning wheel to the right it makes a grinding sound. The abs light comes on. This has been happening for about a month. Before this started I started noticing the when I took off the traction light would come on, even when a slow take off. The grinding sound happens off and on and its starting to get louder. The lights don't stay on all the time.

When I start driving on local street each morning, I make a left turn, the car makes a loud grinding noise and my service traction control, service brake assist, & abs light all come on. They also go on & off when I go over speed bumps make a loud grinding noise. The traction control symbol will come on and I will be stuck trying to accelerate. This is very dangerous as I have almost been hit from behind a few times due to not being able to accelerate in a timely fashion. I have gone on chevy Impala forums looking for other drivers who may have experienced this are there are a good number of them. It seems to be an electrical problem. I finally took it to a mechanic and they could not reproduce the problem. It still happens.
