Getting a second look at air conditioning. I was told the compressor could be leaking as there has been no freon for over a month or two. The freon is 120/pound and could cost 1000, he mentioned for freon alone. This is a 2018, purchased last year and I'm dealing with a compressor issue as well as very expensive freon?.

Check engine light recently came on, car completely lost power and turned off during as I turned right at a light, had onstar run diagnostics, code involved the emissions system, was advised to fill up with high quality fuel, and drive with the gas cap off to correct it. I was traveling on a familiar highway at night, cruise control set at 60 mph, further down the highway I see deer running across the highway, they are common in this area, I tapped my brakes to slow down for them to cross and immediately the check engine, antilock brakes, power steering, stability track and battery saver indicators illuminated on the dash and the car wouldn't brake as it should resulting in an accident that I had more than enough time to prevent and could have easily avoided if the brakes would have performed normally. Maintaining my vehicle and keeping up with its maintenance is of high importance because not doing so can result in safety issues,I travel a lot and if I had been informed of the brake recall or notified of possible other recalls I would have followed up and allowed gm to fix it!.

The brakes are automatically stopping while driving on a city street. The transmission has a pressure valve code that will not give a definite reading. The airbags light stays on along with the abs and stability trak light staying on.

Failure in my stabilitrak, power steering, and abs system! and it says there has been no recall on my car.
The car shuddered on initial start-up, turned it off waited for a minute. Restarted ran normally. The next day on start-up dic alerted to abs, powersteering, and stabilitack in need of service, noticeable difference in steering control, wheel slippage on quick exhilaration, I tried to brake more cautiously so as not to test my braking ability. Definitely a safety issue. Should be recalled. Had the same problem a year ago spending $495. To have the opposite wheel hub and brg assembly. Hope this isn't an annual event. Love my car but hate expenses that should not occur with a car; especially under 100,000 miles. Why did this happen? there is nothing to blame it on such as hitting a pothole. The weather has been colder, there has been a reference to that as well as some say it is a wiring harness that is in a bad location, wearing exposing wires that make contact with metal. Research shows that other drivers are having the same issue and expense. How many complaints will it take before this safety issue is addressed and customers are refunded this unnecessary expense.
Driving on highway when my abs and traction control lights came on causing my vehicle to lose steering control and braking.
I crashed heading down a hill . I crashed into a telephone pole after my car suddenly revved up,gained speed as I headed towards a telephone pole ,with loss of power steering ,brakes because my car quit after gaining speed due to the rpms amping up on their own and going down a hill. When I hit the pole, the telephone lines snapped and I was trapped in the car because they landed on my driver window and were shooting out sparks as if they were roman candles and a fire started on the right side of my car in some pine straw. When the firemen was able to get me out of the car he came to the passenger side and by then I had taken my seat belt off and the fireman advised me to get out of the passenger side if I was able and I told him that I was scared to let off the brake because I thought for some reason being out of my head that the car was going to roll if I let off the brake and he took his hand and slammed the car up in to park because I didn't even realize I had not put it in park. He said you can let your foot off the brake because it will not roll and I said I'm too scared . I asked. . Can I put the emergency brake on and he said yes and when I did it went straight to the floor. Then I continued to come out the passenger side and hop to the sidewalk with my feet together just in case anything was hot and to keep from getting electrocutied just in case something was still hot around us. When I was struck by the airbag the and the seat belt did its job I suppose but for some reason my neck was yanked so hard that it hurts so badd everyday when I didn't go to the hospital. I was unaware of any recalls when I purchased from a dealership on Jan 18 2020. The day before I crashed we were traveling uphill &I had a friend with me that helped grab the wheel until it stopped after it revved up & quit. I attempted to crank it 3xs with success. I was stunned as to why it did it .

When taking off after stopping vichle breaks seem to stick. Does not all was do it. Abs and traction control light comes on some time. Heard this is a common problem amoge these vichals.
Power reduces in heavy traffic. If I slow because of traffic it jerks like brakes are still engaged. Acts like transmission going out. This can cause someone to get run into from behind. There was a recall earlier this year. The mileage was not enough to cover my vechile. There should be no mileage limit.
My oil keeps leaking out and I have to keep adding to it. Ive tried sealants but none of them work to stop it from leaking as well as a sushi in my dash.

I was driving on the highway at night and and my power steering and stabilitrak abs indicators came on and the vehicle became very difficult to turn/handle with out warning.
Tl- the contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Impala. The contact stated that while driving at 55 mph, the abs and stability track warning lights illuminated. As the lights illuminated, the power steering ceased to operate. The contact was able to restart the vehicle but the failure persisted. The contact had to have the vehicle towed to her home. Upon investigation, the contact linked NHTSA campaign number: 14v450000(steering) with her failure. The contact had not taken the vehicle to a dealer and it has yet to be diagnosed. The manufacturer had not been notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 128,496. Jo.

The sunroof sunshade won't retract properly and the fabric hangs down so I can't see out my rear window from the rear view mirror. This happened while driving on the highway. I had to exit and park my car. The shade had issues closing however I was finally able to get it closed. Then a code came up with body control module / sunroof/sunshade actuator calibration not learned (symptom 4b) code: b369d. Also my parking brake engages without touching the button. It happens when I start my vehicle and the parking light on the dash is lit up. I have to disengage it. I will then hear my brakes rubbing on the rotors while driving and making my car vibrate while driving almost like the brakes are catching on a couple spots on the rotors.
When I got the car I new it needed new tires so I went to the tire shop fro. M the dealership but I ask the dealer if the car had been in an accident because I could feel it shimmy he was trying to sale me and 2009 but I could here its power steering pump was out they were both the same price it only made since to get the newer car. After putting new tires on I seen it needed oil change then and transmission needed serviced. While I was doing that I called to ask the guy if he was going to help me out. Lol yea bring it in all charge you twice as much as the place you are at right now so I let him know I would let all my friends know. It was one thing after another. Its been one thing after another then the flapper for the vent started flapping and makes an awful noise all the time there no working air conditioning so I took it to a mechanic to look at it needs brakes and rotters and the list goes on and on so I wanted to get out of the 29. 9 interested the loan office contract me because im paying it off to fast and says I signed to wrong loan agreement and wants more money there in cahoots together it wouldnt let me mark everything thats wrong.
The vehicle had water damage from clogged sunroof drains, which cause water to run all down the side and back panels causing an extensive amount of damage from one horrible design flaw. Some of the things effected was electrical company's such as electronic parking break was engaged and would not release cause the vehicle not to move! next was corrosion on several other inside wires having to do with steering and possibly air bags, but who knows if they will be effective until there is an accident and it's too late to find out if they are dmamged. Other safety features such as side detection was corroded so it too malfunctioned. There was a lot of other electrical things damaged but the car is in the shop and I don't know what else could be a huge safe concern. There is now so much mold which is dangerous to be breathing in if not totally replaced. There is an extensive amount of water in the spare tire wheel well that is causing rust and the inability to use this safety feature if needed! this became a horrible safety concern for myself and whomever my be traveling in my vehicle. Please do research into this because I could not believe this could happen to a car with only 70,000 miles! my car is in the shop so I cannot take any pictures of it! please help!.

The car was stopped on a parking lot exit ramp. When the car ahead of me moved forward I took my foot of of the brake so I could move forward. When I applied the break to stop, the breaks did not work and I hit the car in front of me.
I drive a 2015 chevy Impala, 3 different mechanics have told me my brakes are good as new and I shouldn't have any problems with them however my car is still having trouble coming to a complete stop and it's scary because not only do I have two childre but I also live in a snowy state.

October 10th, I was in an accident where I was literally an entire car length back driving with the flow of traffic at 50-55 mph, when the vehicle in front of me came to an abrupt stop on the freeway. I slammed on my brakes but my car slid straight into the back of the vehicle in front of me. It felt as if my brakes were not stopping my car. I noticed this happening before on a main street and I was travelling at 45 mph but I did not think anything of it at the time.
Tires-tires keep losing air pressure, they appeared new but when tested problems was found, they were wore to the outside as if aliment was needed, new tires was purchased electrical/battery-there is a frequent shut down of electrical system, while driving the engine light come on, from the driver information center (dic) the was 14. 7, the battery was checked twice within a period of two days from the dealership, the first day the battery was good then on the second day they said I had a battery problems, purchased new battery, no warning tried to crank barely turnover, sometimes the dic goes blank and it takes a while for it to display again, this have happen at least 3 times brakes-when backing up there is a frequent loud medal to metal sound, this have happened at least 4 times.
Brake pedal squeak when released.
In February 2019 I purchased a 2018 chevy Impala premier, upon driving the car I noticed that the brakes were not working like my 2018 chevy camaro but I chucked it up to the car being heavier and paid it no attention. For months I have been thinking that maybe I just need to get used to the brakes on my new car and that it was nothing. While I drive at normal speeds (40 - 45 mph) my car slid an extra 5- 10 ft more then it is supposed to every time. Yesterday while braking my brakes just totally did not respond causing me to hit the back of another driver. I was driving about 30 mph literally just turning out of a shopping plaza when the accident happened. I started to press the brakes about 50 meters ahead and my car did not budge nor did it begin to stop it continued to drive at the same speed until I prompted to turn and braced for the collision. I hit the back passenger bumper and the sidewalk bringing my car to a halt. This incident which prompted me to look further brung me online to see that there is a recall for the chevy Impala brakes working improperly. It says that it is on some Impalas and I believe that mine is one of them.
When driving and while applying the breaks the breaks lock up and become hard there is also a air noise coming from breaks almost causing a collision on several occasions. When taking to the mechanic shop he stated it was a common problem and have has to work on the chevy malibu I feel there is a defect with the chevy breaking system. Also the blinker automatically turns on this has been happening since I purchased the car.
I was driving and lady came to a complete stop at rail road track and I couldn't stop I ran into the back of her.
My car was parked in a home driveway, some how jumped out of park and started to roll into the street. No one was in the driver seat to cause this to happen.
Car has had several problems even after being fixed. Only had car for few months and barley can drive it.

"takata recall" having problems with the rotors, tire end rods, and motor mount.
While driving down the road the message center popped up the service power assist steering, and the abs and stabilitrak were also deactivated. This all happened while driving down the highway at 55mph in a straight line.
My car's stabilitrack, barake assist, and traction control lights come on everytime I turn the steering wheel to the left. The car hesitates when giving gas making it for a dangerous situation when getting into traffic.

While driving 60 mph, go a service stabilatrak, reduced engine power, then engine turned itself off. Fortunately, I was on a straight road as power steering and brakes did not work. After rolling to a stop, I put it in park and tried to restart. Nothing! no clicking at all. After 5 minutes and multiple attempts, car started and drove normally??? car only has 36,000 miles on it.
