1 Service Engine Light On problem of the 2011 Chevrolet Impala

Failure Date: 02/20/2019

January 2019 was driving on a very congested interstate 95 at the posted speed limit of 65. A warning popped up on my dash board. Service stabil trak engine in reduced power. It was like I longer controlled my car. The speed suddenly dropped. I went from 65mph to maybe 30mph. It felt like my brakes were being applied . I became scared and almost started to panic. But because I was in the far right lane I was able to pull off the interstate. I sat there on the side of the interstate with my heart racing and my hands locked on the steering wheel so hard they cramped up. I turned off my car and removed the keys from the ignition. I thanked god I was alone in that car. I thanked god the car behind me was not tailgating me. I waited for about 5 minutes and then put the key back in the ignition and started the car up. The warning was gone but the service engine light remained on. I was scared to death to merge back onto the interstate so I put on my flashers and drove on the shoulder at 20-30mph until I got to the first exit. I made it home. I called a car repair company. They told me the sensor more than likely need to be reset. They suggested I take it to a chevy dealership service center. The next day I started my car up and all warning were gone so I did not take it to the service center. The car ran fine until today 52/20/2019. I just filled my tank up with gas. Turned it on put it in gear and drove 20feet when the same error came on . I had looked up this error on the internet. Seems lots of americans have almost been killed because a car maker has a mechanism built in to it vehicle that takes control of the speed to which the vehicle is traveling. People are spending a lot money to fix an issue that seems to not have a fix. Chevrolet is putting the lives and the lives of others on the roads in jeopardy with their stabil trak computer sensors. Your failing americans.

2 Service Engine Light On problem of the 2015 Chevrolet Impala

Failure Date: 12/24/2018

While driving my car suddenly the information area on the dash board said "service stabil a track " "service traction control" and "power to engine reduced" then the service engine light came on. When I took it to the dealership the service rep told me that I would need to replace the high pressure fuel pump and the fuel feed pipe. He asked if I was using e85. I told him I was and he told me that e85 causes that damages in the Chevrolet vehicles and is why he won't use it in his own vehicle. The owner's manual encourages useing e85. Gm will not pay to repair this even though I followed their owner's manual.

I was sitting in the parking lot with my engine running for about 10 mind. All a sudden reduced engine power came across my dash and my service engine light came on. I turned my car off. About an hour later I turned it back on and the message was gone. Then as I was driving down the road my service air bag light came on. It only comes on when the passenger seat beat is clicked on. 6 Service Engine Light On problem of the 2009 Chevrolet Impala

Failure Date: 02/18/2015

I have been having the service engine light come intermittently along with the service traction control light. I have had a technician look at this for me and advised that the throttle control sensor (accelerator pedal) is going in and out. The accelerator pedal is connected to a sensor that drives the throttle on the engine. When this happens intermittently the vehicle looses engine power and traction control.

8 Service Engine Light On problem of the 2009 Chevrolet Impala

Failure Date: 05/28/2014

We own the car listed above and have for over two years. We bought it at a dealership in east tennessee. The car was previously used as a rent a car for enterprise. Not even a year after we bought the vehicle we had to replace the transmission. The biggest problem is the fact I have drove this car and all issues stated for a recall we have had a problem with. The most recent is the vehicle shutting off while driving it on highways. It's is saying service engine light mad than will say service traction control, than it will shutoff I been going 70 down an interstate and it shutoff mad about kill us. We had the vehicle checked and the accelerator pedal sensor or something like that is the problem by what technician say. I am just now starting to research the issues we have and found numerous recalls on this vehicle in which we have the problems listed above and more. Mainly the airbag steering control arm and vehicle just shutting off. I guess the best way to sum it up is they sold us a lemon perhaps but after looking at the recall list our vehicle meets the requirements for sure. Too many problems for a new vehicle. Just looking to take care of the problem before the car injures us or someone else on the highways. Hope this doesn't take long to get resolved because deaths could occur. Thanks for your time hope to speak with someone soon before it's too late. I mean I thought something major was wrong but the automd website really assured what we been thinking. Thanks for your time.
