Steering Is Loose Problems of Chevrolet Impala

The car started to state the airbag needed servicing. I looked up the issue online and saw the recall for my make and model. Recall number 273230. The NHTSA number is 16v507000. Separately, the steering wheel is incredibly stiff when starting the car, and while making turns. Need both arms to force the car to turn. There is no issue with power steering fluid. The steering loosens a small amount when applying pressure on the gas.

The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Impala. While backing out of a parking space, the power steering seized. The vehicle was towed to a dealer. The technician diagnosed that the steering shaft loosened or fractured. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 16,160.

2007 Impala LS steering wheel shaft. First one replaced 3500 miles second at 9500 miles now at 15500 the third one needs to be replaced. Banging noise in front chasis, steering loose, wobble effect in front wheels. Unsafe issue that GMC chevy div will not address just replaces. I own a 2001 Chevrolet Impala with a steering problem. The dealer "repaired" the steering mechanism twice under warranty and now I have the same problem. The steering makes a loud clunking noise when turning, or going slow. After 3 times I have now concluded it is also causing problems with my brakes and tire wear. I get a steady vibration and the steering feels loose. I have replaced brakes, rotors and tires. Please check into this. I believe it is dangerous. It feels like I will lose control of my car. I noticed there have many complaints about this same clunking noise and would appreciate a recall from gm.
