I was driving straight on the interstate when the cruise control deactivated itself. The seat belt light stays lit most of the time. It says service air bag and traction system. Traction system light goes off and on, but the air bag light stays on. Doesnt reset even when unhooking the battery and rehooking it up. Car makes rattling noise from front end. Pulls hard to the right.

When driving car air bag light has flashed on and off on three separate occasions each time as soon as steering wheel move position the light goes out there is a recall for the make and model year but my VIN is not listed.

On 2016 I had a collision claim number 3005632019 -1-7. I didn't have deductibles and therefore the vehicle was not fixed immediately but the insurance had paid part of their portion. On April 8th I was involved on accident and had injuries which I was discharged from treatment not long. Therefore the vehicle still had the bent. On March 12th 2019 the vehicle was hit again on the rear along the tire. Now I had the vehicle fixed both damages at maaco at tacoma. This was done through the insurance. When I took the vehicle at maaco there was no airbag light. They were replacing the passenger door and fixing the bent for both collision. When I picked up the vehicle I noticed the air bag light and I informed the maaco representative. He told me it will go away by its own. It didn't go away and we agreed with them to take it back. When I followed up with them they said that they can't fix the problem but had contacted the insurance. Days passed without getting an updated. Lastly I am told to drive the car back with me and that I have to prove to the insurance that the light is caused by the old accident. I feel it is not safe for me to drive it with the light on as it is not safe for anyone. I don't have transportation and I am paying the insurance and the loan.

My air bag light keeps going off and coming on. My car wasn't included in the recall that happened at the beginning of the year but I fill as though it should of been.

Service esc message - esc off message - and power steering messages come on and I cannot turn my car. Happens multiple times while driving on daily commute and causes me to be put in dangerous situations especially on the expressways. There is not always a place to pull over. These indicators happens whether driving or sitting still. Service air bag message stays on.

I noticed an air bag light that appears on the cluster of my 2012 Chevrolet Malibu upon starting the car. It's not clear why this air bag light comes on, so I contacted gm and they claim they do not have any information on it. Although my vehicle's warranty is no longer valid since it is more than 5 years, but the vehicle has very low miles (about 22k) and I believe gm should pay for the services for this issue to be diagnosed since it is safety related but they refused to pay for any services. I plan to take the vehicle to the dealer but I have no idea the extent of how serious the issue is, or how much it will cost for the repairs.

The service airbag light keeps coming on. It stays on for a couple days and then goes away. It was on for four days this last time, went away for one day and came back on today. I looked online and it sounds like a lot of other Malibu owners have had the same problem. I decided to look to see if there was any recalls for the airbag sensor and there isn't. Seems like there should be if there are a lot of people having the same issue.

The front passenger airbag light always say it is off when a passenger is riding in the front.

Upon inspection, it was discovered that the steering shaft pulled out of the rack. The air bag warning indicator illuminated after the failure. The failure was not diagnosed or repaired. Elm Chevrolet (301 e. Church st, elmira, NY) was notified of the failure. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 157,000.

Takata recall. Power steering and esc light came on while bcar was warming up for the first time, it comes and goes as it pleases sometimes while in motion, sometimes while stationary, and makes it difficult to turn or steer. It also makes my car feel as if the wheels are about to fall off the front end. My air bag light is also on and won't go off. Guessing it doesn't work. Pulled some codes but nothing for power steering, attached are a few images of a few codes that were pulled. Not all codes.

April 1st 2019 the service airbag light started coming on on my dashboard I went into a automotive repair place and they told me that the air module to the airbag needed to be replaced because it was defected.

Service airbag indicator light came on and stayed on. Plan on taking to dealer this week to have it checked.

Tl the contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Malibu. While driving at an unknown speed, the air bag warning indicator illuminated intermittently and an abnormal ringing noise was heard. The contact was concerned for her safety that the air bag might deploy. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that there was no recall associated with the VIN. The approximate failure mileage was 50,000.

After the battery went dead for the first time on the car, it was jumped and taken to dealer to replace. The next day the service airbag light is on and taken back to dealership. They now want to charge over 1000 to fix something that was defect due to battery was jumped and shorted module. Now my car does not have working airbags and this problem is all over the web in different groups as a reoccurring problem.

Red air bag light is on also service air bag message is on. This is on while stationary and while moving. No issues to the vehicle that would have caused this to occur.

I have had several issues with the air bag and electronic stability control. I have taken my vehicle in before regarding the issue with the service air bag light before. Just recently the service esc (electronic stability control) light had come on. I called general motors regarding if there any recalls for my vehicle, and was told there are not active recalls, but I should take my vehicle in to have it serviced for the passenger side air bag not working properly (not on). I have also had numerous issues with my tmp(tire pressure monitoring) system as well with regard to low tire pressure that keeps showing the left front tire. When I put air in that tire air pressure is registering in the other tires as well. These are all serious safety concerns that need to be investigated. I don't know if anyone else is experiencing the same problem, but this could possibly lead to serious injuries or death.

When I put my car in park, on the dash board it say put car in park to turn off. When my car is in park. Also when I go to start my car it take a while for it to start. It will say serivce stablility. My air bag lights came on. I also have seen that alot of customers that has the same car is having the same problem.

While driving down the highway the chimes started dinging and the cabin filled up with smoke the airbag light came on after pulling over it was discovered that the front seat belts were locked in the wearing position.

The service airbag light comes on and goes off quite often. This could cause accident or kill a person if goes off. The power steering starts getting hard to use then makes noise then fine. Airbag light doesn't have to be in motion. Power steering is in motion. On highway and turning. There is no recalls that I know of for airbags but heard there was. This has been an issue since I bought car 1/27/18 to today.

My airbag light is on airbag issues, I have had my headlights checked three times and they keep going completely out there is an issue with the headlights the steering is always shaky its been an ongoing issue with my car.

In addition, if there was no warning indicator illumination related to the failure, the contact would be responsible for the diagnostic fees to determine if the vehicle had a potential failure related to the �special coverage program�. The contact had not experienced a failure, but was concerned for his safety and the potential of a failure.

I have the airbag light going off and states to service the airbag. I have 80,000 miles on the vehicle. The airbag light will not go away.

Since buying this vehicle, I've had trouble with the brakes, airbag sensors, electrical problems, seatbelt issues and also the airbag light, had a mechanic replace the airbag sensors in the rear, but the light still comes on. The brakes are now shuttering worse when I apply the brakes and it feels like the wheels are going to fall apart.

The brake lights illuminate without pressing on the brakes. I remember there being a recall before and I took my car in and it got fixed however it is doing it again. And my air bag light goes on and off all the time.
