I have been very lucky and not killed in an accident, my engine stalls due to fuel starvation. Investigation pe02066 , I have had tune up new spark plugs, new throttle control sensor, and another sensor, fuel injectors, throttle body and still the truck does the stalling out. I feel that is a problem with the truck, and a real safety hazard. This is a daily occurrence .

Fuel leak at #4 injector driping onto exhaust manifold. Extream fire hazard! I am a certified master mechanic and I am going to fix this my self. There is a recall on this vehicle with this engine but the chevy dealer said it was not for this VIN #1gccs1943tk196446 (1996 chevy S10 pu 2. 2 liter engine).

Consumer noticed gasoline fumes inside vehicle. Vehicle taken to dealer, who determined fuel injector tops were made of plastic and allow ed fuel to leak onto intake manifold. Fuel injectors need to be replaced.
2 of the 4 fuel injectors failed.
