- the contact stated thatthe 2001 Chevrolet S10 should be able to use flexible fuel. When the vehicle was taken to the dealership they advised contact not to use e85 fuel. The dealership refused to inform the contact of the consequences of using e85 fuel. The dealership advised contact if e85 fuel were used they would refuse to repair vehicle. The vehicle currently had 100000 miles. There had been no failures to date.

While driving about 30 mph engine started jerking, and engine light came on the dashboard. Then, engine stalled. When consumer got out of vehicle smoke was coming out of the bottom of vehicle. A few feet away could see fire wich was extinguished on its own ,then fuel was dripping under.
