One problem related to cruise control has been reported for the 2000 Chevrolet Silverado. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Cruise control was on, and vehicle was traveling on the highway at 70mph. It was raining outside, and consumer tapped brakes to take the cruise control off, but cruise control didn't release. Vehicle continued to accelerate. Also, consumer attempted to turn cruise control off maually, but it still didn't release. Had to turn the motor off.
